Yes by itself it’s like running the speed gears but even a tad faster then the speed gears and a lot more faster than the original stock trail gears

It was getting really hot.From what I have heard since is out-runner motors do tend to run hotter than in-runner motors.When I’m just out on a casual slow rock crawl or a higher paced run in 2nd gear it doesn’t get hot at all.I do notice it will get hotter when I do the really really slow crawl like I was doing in the beginning of the video.Since this video have had plenty of time running this system and I’m liking it.I say go for it if you want a no nonsense plug and play system that uses the stock radio.Hope this helps.

So you have new brushless and 2 speed transmission correct? Does the 2 speed transmission get you any more top speed by itself vs standard set up?

Before turning it in go out and run it like you normally would out trailing and crawling and see how hot it gets.

i have the motor, just ran it for 2 min inside on the floor. gets so hot i can’t touch it. only slow driving. should i send mine in too?

If you’re doing nothing but very slow crawl with no change in speed in between it will get hot.I just think it’s how these motors are. They are a higher kv than the norm.

What was wrong with the motor?...I was thinking about getting this system now im on the fence about it
