Traxxas trx4m brushless system installed in a trx4m high trail with 2 speed transmission.

I sold it cheap to a friend that I regularly crawl with.Kept it in the family. $75. I got plenty of use and really didn’t need 3 trx4m’s.Ill keep my high trail and my bronco that also uses the Cherokee body.If I wanted I could have gotten more but it was a friend and we hook each other up with rc stuff.

Don’t do it just yet.This motor runs very hot just crawling around slow in 1st gear.Im going back to my local hobby shop where it was purchased and ask what’s up with the motor getting so hot.Thanks for checking out the vid though.Im keeping the two trx4m’s I have the bronco and this high trail.They are great crawlers /trail rigs but will in the future will be getting more in the Fms line up.They are really doing great things.

I got into the hobby with the trx4 and then the trx4m and I’ll admit I went a little crazy buying 3 broncos and 2 defenders and decking them out with injora parts sadly I gave up on them ever since I got my first Fms the k5 and it just grew from there and my trx4m’s have been sitting collecting dust for almost a year now but seeing this and all the other mods that came out for the platform is making me want to dust them off and start driving them again. The brushless is overpriced but I’ll definitely get one to try out along with the hightail f150 I’ve been eyeing them for awhile but now I think I’m ready to bite the bullet.

It is neither.Its closer to the crawler gears and the high speed gears. A little bit faster than low range gear and the high speed gear. It’s a great match up for this brushless system.Slow crawls great in 1st gear and really fast in 2nd gear.

I completely agree. It’s way overpriced. The only reason I chose this was because I didn’t need to buy a separate receiver and another radio and also used the money I made selling one of my trx4m’s.But ya overpriced and runs very hot also.

@@360woodierc ohh ok did it hold up its price thinking about selling one one of my high trails for more rcs lol i did just buy the new 1/10 WPL C54 jimny cant wait to unbox and review its a sick rig i also have a whole hobbywing 1060 esc and 6 channel injora transmitter/receiver combo Brand new in the box waiting for an upgrade might drop it on the jimny but well see how it performs first out of the box

You overpaid for that system brother too much money for that i would of invested in the hobbywing kit instead its like 75 bucks i think traxxas charging way too much i ordered the brushless fms kit for 68 bucks for my k10 still wat cheaper than the traxxas version its cool that its a direct swap but way expensive brother but to each their own brother sweet system btw i digg but just too OP

HW system doesn’t fit the 4m. Says right in their promo. They’re releasing a 4m version at some point.
