Angerhaus, so I have one of the first mock ups from skintbango and I learn real fast the high clearance links don't do so well compared to the straight links. But i love the bouncer!!

Yeah man, I came to the same conclusion so I later flipped my bottom links upside down because I can't find any straight metal links. I was gonna make my own links but other builds got in the way 😅

I'm probably the guy you read on Reddit posting the issue with Injora speed gears not fitting in the Injora transmission housing. The Meus transmission case & gears didn't have this issue. Also the 9.7:1 speed gears were too much for my rig, I was getting very bad cogging (with brushless / Cedar, so ymmv) but moving to 13.17:1 medium-speed gears helped a lot. Doesn't sound like a huge change but I can crawl + still rip donuts with that setup. Cogging isn't 100% gone but it's loads improved.

@@Weyland_Financial dude, thanks so much for the recommendation. I see 13.17:1 is only offered by Meus. Have you tried it in the Injora housing? I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t but just thought I should double-check.

@@Angerhaus I didn't, I mangled my Injora case trying to clearance with a dremel where I thought it was fouling on the gears, I gave up and just went Meus at that point. Forgot to say, killer rig, turned out looking great

My man! Great job on this, I wish I have the ability to do what you do. This cage gets mad compliments. It most accurately resembles an 1/18th scale rock bouncer. Nothing else comes close! 🔥🔥🔥

@@RCRoads aw crap, I should’ve just bought a Ryft. 😂 yeah if Ryft comes in 1:18 or 1:24 I’d totally get it. I like micro scale stuff. Even the UTB18 I feel is a bit too big for me. Thanks for watching!

I made a crawler of traxxas and axial but the reality is a injora projects. Because this i only buy a parts and assembly

rock bouncer is supposed to be fast. higher spool and lower pinion if you want more low end but the twitch will be speed controller issues

Maybe twitchiness wasn't the best choice of word, but yeah I'm gonna try different combinations of gearsets to find the best reduction ratio to get some low-speed throttle definition back without losing too much of the top end. Right now I'm thinking keeping 9.7:1 in the transmission and gear down to 24T/10T in both axles. I'm open to recommendations!

This is strictly for TRX4m, but I've seen plenty of rock bouncer chassis for 1:10.

so i found this chassis download on cults3d, but when i try to import it into Bambu Studio it says the file does not contain any geometry data. Any suggestions? Love your build!! Hoping to get mine started if i can figure out why my download has errors....

Sorry, dude. That's actually something I can't help with. I sent the STL to a professional printer and had it printed for me. They had no problem with it though, and I was able to preview it on my computer.
