I’m excited to see what’s coming in homeschooling the kids. Also, congratulations on your new baby! Can’t wait to meet her. I follow you guys bc I love that you two met after such tragedy in both of your lives. I’m older than you two. I’m 62 and I lost my husband to brain cancer five years ago. I recently started dating and good grief it’s so frustrating. Everything has to be talked about up front. Like I’ve had a complete hysterectomy but I’m on hormone replacement so I have desire for sex. Some men my age have had prostate cancer and may have issues in that dept so that info has to be discussed UP FRONT! But we’re all mature adults and I’ve kinda gotten used to the conversation. But you see what I mean. And so many men lie about what they want. They say they want a long term relationship when in fact they are looking for a one night stand. Dating apps are their platform for that of course. You guys are my hope that one day I’ll find the right man bc I’m lonely. So say a prayer for me that God sends me a good man. God bless you two and those precious children!

I used BJU textbooks for some of my subjects as a classroom teacher. It will be interesting to see how the home program works.

I'm happy to hear you found a curriculum that will work for your family. I homeschool three of our four children and I was honestly curious how you guys were going to pull off homeschooling 11 children and deal with an infant. Our youngest is about to turn 3 but I still remember those days and it can be tough! So much love to your family and prayers for a happy, successful homeschooling year!

We like Abeka! Caleb grew up using it, and we used it last year for our boys as well. Having ten boys in school changes the game a bit, so we’re excited to be doing online video courses with BJU Press Homeschool next year. Glad you’re here with us!
