So…I was looking for some Covergirl reviews and randomly came across and started watching this. Anyway! Your tangent on animal cruelty and welfare was actually refreshing. Coming from a vegan, animal welfare worker who likes makeup it was nice to hear someone say it with such common sense…like why would you think it was cool to torture & kill animals just to put color on your face, especially when it’s unnecessary now & there are other options? So thanks for that! And thank you for being honest about not knowing much about the topic in regards to eating meat and vegan makeup and all that! I think if you researched more into it you might take the step into vegan makeup as well! Obviously I don’t think we need to farm animals anymore to survive either but that’s a whole other topic. I agree though that I would prefer people to hunt than to farm. But in regards to vegan makeup that just means that there are no actual animals used in the making of the makeup either, so really if it seems logically to be cruelty free because it’s unnecessary to kill animals for makeup then it’s the same thing. Almost all cruelty free brands have lots of vegan options now too! Cover girl had tons! My favorite budget foundation that’s vegan and cruelty free is the Flower Beauty Serum Foundation or the NYX Born to Glow/Can’t Stop Won’t Stop but the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation is my all time fav! Anyway…thanks for sharing and thanks for your honesty!

Hi Jill! What a nice comment you left! Thank you for stopping by the channel and checking it out. I def agree, why not be cruelty free! Happy to report I am still sticking to my word. I think Vegan is something I will take a look into, I have had a few people approach me and say my values probably align there as well. I am no expert but I think we can all do our part, right?.
