I had an amazing 8th grade teacher who truly understood my shyness and stage fright. I remember actually tearing up before a presentation. Yes it was that bad for me..anyways she called me over to her desk and gave me a boots of confidence that got me up and in front of the entire class. I'll never forget her words.

Kwentong Jollibee is always the best. I'm a Jollibee kid, and became a manager of Jollibee here in ormoc. But I resigned coz I have to take care of my baby. We always have a convention every year with all the managers around Philippines,, we were the first to watch the kwentong Jollibee episodes before it will uploaded to social media. Still gets me every time I watch even though I've seen them a hundred times. 😢😂

I can relate with the name patch because I am a teacher too in a public school here in Ph. Every school year, I try to memorize all the names of my students. Every class has 40 to 50 students. Then, I every mo. I aim to memorize all the names so in 5 mos., I already know all the names of my students. In that case, every school year I memorize 200-250 names. Imagine whe you are already 5 years in the academe, you've got 1k-1,250 names on your bucket but it is not possible because you will forget their names. You will just recognize their faces. Only few will remain on your memory so the fact that they put a name patch for their beloved teacher was so wonderful.

The Smart commercial, it's so powerful. What most people don't realize (probably) is that his dad is/was in the military, and quit a celebrated one at that. And I don't know about anywhere else, but here in the Philippines, if you're dad is in the military if you had a gay son, it's almost embarrassing-- generally speaking. You want your son to follow your footsteps. My dad was in the military. And I'm transgender. The first time I had to open that up to anyone I had to open it up to my mom, because I was so scared to admit that to my dad. He was very strict to me and my sister growing up. So when I was 16, I told my mom, because I knew eventually she would tell my dad. Which she did. So the night after I told I mom, I remember being so anxious arriving at home from school, and my dad looked at me as I entered the living room, and asked "Son, are you gay?" (he used the word "gay" because there is no equivalent English term for transgender in Filipino). And I said "yes", and that was it. No lectures, no sermons, no nothing. My dad loved me as his child, just because I am. On his death bed, I rarely visited him, because I never wanted to see him that weak. So one time I visited, and when I was there his attending nurse (who was also transgender) was there too, my dad told the nurse "See, that's my child, she's transgender just like you", and the nurse told me, "You're very lucky to have a very loving father". I had to get out of the room, I can't help myself but cry. I will never forget my father. He loved me and my sister and my mom, with all his heart regardless of anything. Thanks for this video, and thanks Smart (I have hate-love relationship with you) but that commercial is so powerful.

There is a couple of really good teacher ones for Thailand... one is about an old teacher who refused to sell the land and another is about a teacher who helped a student become a doctor, another is about a teacher who helped one of her students who mother died.... there is lots of so many very good, yet very sad thailand teacher ones. All are beautiful. We forget in todays society that teachers help shape us who we are in later life, whether we admit it or not. If you would like the links then I can give them too you. I've hated math my whole life not because its hard it just never sticks to me. I understand then forget. I've always doubted myself in every academic related work because I thought I was dumb. I hated coming to school. I dreaded every minute of it until my physics teacher came a long in highschool. He made me recognize my ability. He taught me a lot of things. I am now a senior in Electrical Engineering department. Thanks to him I've found courage to do what I do now.

I had a teacher in high school and her name is Miss Virginia Aguila after graduating she became a close family friend of ours specially my departed mom she had a young niece and a nephew to care of when she was still teaching and had to provide them and herself from her just enough salary now that shes retired its her niece's turn to take of her and her niece turned out to be succesful in her field of work now Miss Aguila is living a very good life and we still have communication and i graduated high school in 1981
