Oh boy, that Dumbo one got me, we had the VHS of that movie and I didn’t understand it at the time (since I was a kid) but when this scene came out, my mom would hold me and my sister in her arms real tight and she would cry a little bit. It’s amazing how much you feel a mothers love that you look back on it and just smile and cry. I’m very close to my mom, she has been my rock and my constant support. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!

Never seen that stepmom movie but it speaks. Just had a coworker suddenly pass, leaving behind four kids. Her youngest was two. She was in her 30's. I didn't know her super well but she was always friendly to everyone. She will be truly missed. RIP Anna.

The dumbo scene always got me because my mom who was raising us by herself at the time would often spend most of her days at work and work a late shift and I would sometimes go days without actually seeing or talking to my mother and I missed her immensely more than I know how to describe with words. But even then I was the middle child with four sisters and since I was the only boy I figured that my sisters needed her more than I did so I would end up just letting them spend more quality time with her and wait my turn for the few times she would come to check on me. So the quality time I did spend with her was brief and sweet like strong winds on a hot day and as I grew up out of all of my siblings I'm the least sensitive and emotional I am also still the one who doesn't talk to our mother as much. Honestly part of me wishes I had pestered her more for her love and attention but she was so busy already I didn't want to be another problem she had to deal with I hope she knows I love her and that I wasn't distant because I don't care it was so that my sister's always had mom to help them. I'm a man so I should be able to handle this on my own I'm 21 now and I guarantee I say less than 300 words to my mom a week. I wonder what young me would do if he knew what I know now embrace the unknown by choosing selfishness or side with certain selflessness again. I'll never know.

A really good scene to show for Mother’s Day is the scene between the main character from movie The Joy’s Luck Club and her mother. The whole movie is pretty emotional but that scene is just so emotionally intense. If you haven’t seen that movie, I highly recommend it.

I was doing just fine until the Dumbo one. Yeah it's the song, it always gets to me. The Military ones are always sweet. My own brother was in Kuwait for almost 6 months (he's Air Force also). He was able to get out a few weeks earlier then planned so he and my sister-in-law ended up surprising their kids and got those reactions on video too. My youngest nephew, who's almost 12, he ended up crying. I was expecting my 6 year old niece to cry (and she did, she's a total daddy's girl), but not any of my nephews lol.
