As a teenage guy in the mid 90s, the image that pops into mind when I see pants like that is of the Mexican singer "Fey" who was very popular in '95 ish and wore pants like this or especially with a square print (basically, stripes going both ways, intersecting). Both styles were common in the mid 90s and looked great. Good on anyone who's bringing this fashion trend back around!
