Oooh some of these were awesome! I do have to say though about the "quiet art makes more of a difference than protesting in the street" - no, it doesn't. It really doesn't. Art is powerful, but it's not disruptive the same way thousands of people marching in the street shutting down businesses and being VERY VERY VISIBLE does. And that's the point. These protests NEED to be disruptive. They need to be something that can't be ignored, because if people can ignore them, they're going to. You can't enact change if you aren't willing to shake things up, take risks, and make people mad at you. Someone is always going to be annoyed, inconvenienced, or angry when something big is happening - they want to be able to ignore things that don't directly affect them. The only way you can make people pay attention is to make it affect them too.
