I’ve done the spring trick when I was at school. A very thin string is attached to the upper part of your body. You have to have people focus on your hands to be able to move the string with your body. You move your body slightly back and forth so if someone is looking at your body it looks like you’re not moving.

Fun fact: the ruler and paper trick worked because of air resistance. If the Ball is going for the ruler at high velocity, the paper can't go vertically up fast enough because of the air pushing it back down.

For anyone who was confused, I think in the worm one the sound of the stick against the tree sounds like a mole burrowing. Whenever worms hear that noise, they instinctively go to the surface because they don't want to be eaten. This is the same technique that robins make above ground so worms will go above ground and get eaten by the bird. The sound of the mole digging is sort of like an alarm system to the worms, it's just taken advantage of by birds and people with sticks.

For anyone wondering how the paper on ruler works at 11:40 if you place paper on the ruler the air is pushed out of the piece of papers way so when something hits it quickly the air pressure under the paper is lower than the air pressure above creating a sort of vacuum that is then used to keep the ruler underneath as air doesn’t have the time to get underneath the paper when done quickly. However if you just push down on it very lightly but with a constant force rather than a quick on and off the ruler air has time to get underneath removing the vacuum effect on the ruler so it can then fall I’m Samuel and that’s your 2 minute daily physics read And yes I know most of the videos seen are applying laws of physics and look like they’re defying physics but the other ones are primarily sound or electrostatic which are is much easier to understand
