You say about how the higher heels are uncomfortable and difficult to walk in, but to me, I find that slightly lower heels ( that you describe as comfortable and easier to walk in) just look so more classy. I can understand the appeal of sky-high stilettos, but not if the wearer is uncomfortable and struggling to walk. You even described a lower pair of black court shoes as 'boring', yet I thought they were one of your loveliest pairs. Great video!

yay thank you (and welcome!)! New Look shoes are so great - they have a store near my work and they have a massive shoe section so it's always a lunchtime temptation for me! I took the same size in both the valentinos and the gianvito rossis - I might have been able to size down half a size in the plexi pumps as I do need a heel guard but the valentinos fit completely true to size imo.

Love your shoe collections and I am a sucker for suede as well. Do you have any chipping issues with you Valentino on the little bit of leather above the heels? Mine has chipped already even before I wore them out :( xxx

Yes! It's not as bad on the patent ones but on my calf flats, it's pretty noticeable. I've seen on the purse forum that you can get little metal studs at the tips to stop this but I haven't found a shoe cobbler who will do it! Totally sucks for shoes that are SO expensive :(

Aw thank you so much! Really appreciate your kind words :) The Weitzmans were true to size but both pairs of Manolos are a little big. The D'Orsay pumps very much so (I should have sized down at least half a size). The BB pumps fit but need a heel guard but I'm not sure whether I would have sized down given the choice as I don't think that would help the comfort factor. I have tried Manolos in the past that seemed true to size though which is super frustrating! I think in general, I would go down half a size though. HTH!
