Clutter does make me anxious- I 100% agree with being mindful of "resets" and of doing things today that will make tomorrow easier!

I love the idea of clutter audits. I know I have things to get rid of, that I think… I’ll do that later when I actually declutter. But doing it there and then is so much faster! Thanks for the idea. 🙂💕

I’ve been trying something close to the reset lately. I call it “ like it never happened”. Whatever I do during the day, I clean it up like it never happened

Yes! These concepts work for managing one’s environment. I’ve struggled with clutter and mess my entire life. It wasn’t until really working on some of these things that now my space stays peaceful. Maintenance is pretty easy now. Thank you for making this video.

Yes implementing an 'outbox' where I put things to leave the house has been so helpful. Then when I go past the charity shop or recycling station for ruined clothes and shoes I take a bag with me. I take a bag to one or the other most weeks. Just small amounts of decluttering every week helps so much! Now finally my entry way and living area is always company ready as I don't have this clutter around. My hot spots are so much easier to clean up now. !

I created a home for everything and drawer/basket as my limit so I'm constantly audit and decluttering. I do take extra time to put things back right away of course not everyone in my family does it so I do nightly reset keeps the house clutter free all the time.

My grown daughter just came to live with us and suddenly there is more stuff everywhere all the time. I must be honest, I am really bad at not putting things up after I use them, but it has suddenly moved to a new level. I love your idea of a reset in just the area that is bothering me most which is the kitchen. I will try this.

I hope your resets are going well! 💗

When I reset and create clean spaces, my husband looks at it as an invitation to fill it all back up. He's a person that needs everything out in order to remember we have items. Where I want it all put away. 😵💫

That can be tough to navigate!

My boyfriend LIKES doing things more than once.. I just don't get it. I totally agree with the OHIO method, but him and I just don't seem to operate on the same wavelength in this regard lol Eg. He will wash a dish (with soap and water) and put it in the sink..then dry his hands.. come over to pick up the next dish from the dinner table.. wash that.. and repeat. Then he will wash them all again in bulk at the sink.. I know, "why not just bring all the dishes over to the sink when the meal is done, then wash them and be done - once".. If you have a tip to convince him further to legit make his life easier, I'm all ears because my logic doesn't seem to work lol
