Do i need gloves if casting with braid ?, as i have heard it can cut fingers.

If your casting no, there isn't enough force to cut skin when casting a spinning rod. It can feel like it's cutting if your fingers are cold. It will cut if you are pulling on the braid I.e stuck in a snag. I wouldn't worry about just casting though
