This is a major throwback product for me, well 3 years ago 😅 I used this a lot when I first went natural, lovely smell and reasonable price. I liked it for wash and gos. I might revisit as I’ve up my game and hair has grown longer.

Hey Deborah, thanks for watching. The Sof n Free is my all time fav curl activator. So I asked my mum and she said she doesn't get flaking, because she remoistens her hair every morning and reapplies a little more of the product until it's time for wash day. I reckon her hair is normal porosity, because her hair takes to water and products quite well, where as with my low porosity, I tend to get product build up.

My hair HATED this product. My curls usually clump together very easily, but this product made my hair very frizzy in comparison to my usual routine. I also found that it flaked a lot. I ended up giving it away... it smells nice, though.

It didn't make my hair stiff, felt slightly dry though so I would recommend coating it with an oil once you apply it.
