I use the Fake Bake Coconut Serum Self Tanner and I freaking love it!!!!!! For the longest time I used the fake bake darker spray tan you spoke about and I still like it, but the serum lasts sooooooo much longer and its such a pretty color. I was blown away the first time I tried it.

I’m a dark self tanner and the st tropez extra dark is NOT extra dark only the color guard, I’m so glad someone experienced that too. The regular dark is much darker and lasts longer. I can’t wait to try the loving tan 2 hour express and the dripping gold. Thank you for the video and suggestions I feel like this video was made for me !!💛

I took a chance with Bondi Sands and I have to say I love it! For me it's a really dark tan when I let it develop overnight and doesn't get streaky of spotty...and the price is great!

Try the versa spa!!! The self tan soufflé with bronzer is my favorite and it drys instantly so you can wear it out and it’s not sticky at all and is a violet undertone so it looks really natural

I just bought the st. Moriz dark tanning mousse at Walgreens for 13 bucks! I can say by far it is my most favorite tanning mousse I've ever used! By far. even better than loving tan! It is dark and not streaky at all develops in like 30 minutes and is a perfect natural color! i highly highly recommend trying it out! Super affordable as well. **update** apparently im highly allergic to an ingredient and broke out in hives all over my body after 6 hrs. they were actually like chemical burns. i used it 1 more time to make sure because i loved it THAT MUCH. sure enough. same thing shortly after i applied it. if you have sensitive skin it may not be best for you.

Bondi Sands Liquid Gold is life. Doesn’t run off on your sheets, dries pretty instantly, fades evenly. You do have to put two coats on for a dark tan, but it’s so worth it for how low maintenance it is.

My favorite are the Kate Sommerville tan towels. They go on and stay on the best for me. If you like having a color guard, these don't have that. I love it though because I hated the color guard coming off on clothes, etc if I got wet or sweat. Once I showered initially, it took extreme sweating to get color transfer. I found it easy to apply and rarely had any application issues.

You may have tried it BUT the Jergens mousse in deep bronze is the best. It's hydrating, easy to apply, affordable and if you sleep in it, it gets you dark! It is never ever patchy and fades really well to. :) You should try it

suzette jacobson she has a whole video on how she does her self tan. Katie- Luster Lux has a great video on how to do it also! She goes pretty in depth on how much moisturizer, what kind, etc. She has dry skin as well. I think it's definitely worth watching. Hope that helps!

Bondi Sands works great with my skins chemical makeup, and it lasts for a very long time. i leave it on overnight. i have never had this brand transfer onto my sheets. However I do want to try the dripping gold mouse. with Bondi I can still go in the sun without it running when I sweat. I lead trail rides all of the time, I just make sure to use sport sunscreen because you can still burn with self tanners. ...much love and happy tanning!!!!

Hey Casy! Have you tried the Jergens lotion tanner? It is a lotion but it is so easy and it seems to have a thinner consistency than other lotion self tanners. It also doesn't leave me streaky and I don't really find it to get on my sheets. It is a bit of a lighter self tanner but I think they have darker shades. I really love it and it is super easy and hydrating. It has a more olive undertone. You do have to apply for a couple of days depending how dark you want it to be, but it fades really nicely, and comes really easy.

I'm 40 and just started with self tanners. I bought Loving Tan because it's at Ulta (POINTS) and so raved about. I also bought the Tan Lux gradual lotion. I've tried both and I really love them, particularly the Loving Tan and get compliments. Being so pale, I'm not used to getting compliments on my tan, lol. I got the Loving Tan bronze shimmer stuff but haven't used it. And I got the Westmore Beauty tan body makeup which I also haven't tried. One thing about self tanning is I feel like I don't want to move or it'll ruin it. I use the 2 hour Express and put it on in the morning. But then I sit super still like a weirdo afraid I'm going to mess it up. Does moving or sleeping in it ruin it? Unfortunately, peri menopause has started and I do sweat at night. Will that ruin it? It doesn't seem to affect the finished tan once it's set and rinsed off. I'm just worried about the whole setting in part.

Michelle Rhodes sweating too much can ruin it so best bet is to keep the AC on at night I sometimes sleep in it or sometimes I just wait out the 8 hours and then shower immediately

I love mists and crazy as it sounds- my favorite is Banana Boat Summer Color in dark. Probably not dark enough for you, but I’m fair skinned and I just like to have a healthy glowy tan. Also, it is kinda sticky but dries after maybe 15 minutes and doesn’t stain my white sheets

as far as drug store the best iv'e tried was the jergins mousse in dark, since it's a drugstore it has a more yellowy color but a lot more natural looking than other drugstore products. I even use it with higher price tanners to fix spots and use it on my face. Super even and a great price. develops quickly as well but don't wash off like other tanners.

I'm super fair. Every single self-tanner always looks crazy on me no matter what I do. I saw the creator of the Isle of Paradise on Nadine Baggott's channel this weekend and figured I'd give it a try. I got the light one with pink undertones. It's perfection. I have a little color but no streaks. I just look healthier, thinner, and my skin tone looks even. I've only used it once so far but I'm super impressed and I'm not easily impressed. I didn't smell weird after it developed either. It's perfect for anyone who wants a little color that has ever had difficulty with looking too orange or streaky. I applied a smidge of lotion to my "dry bits" as Nadine says and it turned out perfect.

Tanceuticals is definitely my favorite. I’m as white as a snow but that mousse makes me look soooo natural and not orange or like it’s a fake tan actually. It’s not streaky at all and it lasts more than any self tanner I ever tried (up to 5 days if you do it 2 days in a row). It washes of nicely and fades evenly. And the best part it doesn’t stink like other self tanners do. Not to mention it’s actually good for your skin because of all the botanical ingredients. It’s also like a cc product for your skin. I always get compliments on my tan when I have it and people can’t believe it’s a fake that that I have. Now the downside for you might be it’s not extra dark. I’m not sure if they have extra dark products. You can check it out. Thanks for the video and testing them all for us.
