Old Bay has been put on any and everything since the 1930's. My favorite is tomato cucumber salad. The celery really ties it all together.

Yes, Old Bay is good on meat in general. And surprising foods as well. Had a great cocktail with Old Bay

A bloody mary is probably good with some old bay

Going to try this recipe and combine with your other Corn Beef brisket recipe and see how it works. The Old bay might be the kicker! Using Traeger smoker.

That’s a very interesting idea, sounds like a really good combo! Let me know how it comes out, I may have to give it a try myself

You do a good job on your briskets 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽,do you have a certain size brisket you like to smoke and when should I crank up the smoker to 300 to get it done?

Thanks a lot. I'll bump the temp up once I wrap the brisket, and if I am not wrapping I will bump it up about 45 min after it hits the stall.

I usually like to get a brisket between 10-12 lbs but they are hard to find

That looks very interesting. Do you have any thoughts about adding black pepper to your next Old Bay cook?
@SmokestackJoes2 жыл бұрын
I think adding black pepper would be a good idea, I did notice that it was lacking the black pepper taste which you expect with brisket.

Had anyone tried this seasoning on a Turkey? Thinking about smoking one this weekend using old bay seasoning…..🤔

Did you end up using the old bay on a turkey? I think thats a great idea and it probably would give the turkey a great color along with awesome flavor.
