Try this recoil hack to fix your slipping rope

In "Blademan & Throttle Save Christmas" Taryl goes over this little trick for what to do when your snowblower recoil will NOT catch. Ever have it where you go to pull the rope and it slips and won't pull over?? Man that can be so frustrating! But with Taryl's quick and easy trick, you'll be back in business in no time.
Prior to and after the fix, Blademan & Throttle catch wind that The Choker and his Henchman, Jingle Bells, have kidnapped Santa Claus in an attempt to extort 1 million dollars or Christmas is cancelled! I passed this channel up when it was first recommended because of the skits. Now I’m fully invested in the characters and I’m catching myself saying “fire it up, fire it up, fire it up!” The tuba sound plays in my head when something goes wrong and the celebration song plays when it fires up. 😂 Great wholesome and educational content. This is a very timely video, thank you. I've owned maybe 6-7 2-stroke Toro snowblowers with the R-tek engine, and none of them ever had the "recoil not catching" issue, until this most recent one that I picked up last month. It catches maybe 60-70% of the time. Now I know how to fix it!

I have an old Tecumseh MTD snowthrower, HS50 Tecumseh engine. Recoil innards broke after so many years. Bought an HS50 Recoil assembly on eBay, changed out the innards and spring and it works better than the original. Went from 1 dog to 3 dogs.
