Tripp, this was happening to me in 2019. It traumatized me, it was a single event but was a total shock to me. I never contacted her again after, practically ghosted her( best decision ever). Ghosting is immature. Have the conversations that need to be had unless they themselves are to immature to converse. Put down a boundary, explain there is no reason to continue the acquaintance, friendship, relationship etc. Then exit that environment forever. Obviously block if they do not honor the boundary you set.

A girl and I had a mutual crush on each other for over a year. Months ago, offered to come over and help me pick up pieces after a bad breakup, denied her for obvious reasons. Fastforward, now I'm moving out of state. She stated that she wants to see me before I leave. She volunteers phone number and agrees to meet up on a Tuesday for a quick meet over coffee or a drink. No contact for three days, until she texts and advises she is actually back with an ex and she doesn't think it's right to him. He is not an exemplary individual, so there's a lot going on there. This was actually one of two best case scenarios. Advise "I didn't know." and ghosted her. Thank you Tripp.

I just block them I guess that's ghosting. I had a girlfriend for about 4 months and one day we where chatting and asked her what she was doing and she said she was waiting for some guy to pick her up. I blocked her right away. I was really upset and had so many emotions mainly anger. I tried to think maybe I was over reacting and maybe it was just a friend. It didnt feel right and I didn't like the way she told me. I thought it was her tring to make me jealous. She should of just communicated with me another way if she was wanting to end our relationship. She had mental Issues so I was not sure how to take it or understand what just happened because I was shocked.

2 months ago i ghosted my ex. We were toghether, we broke up but somehow we remained friends and she invited me at her birthay party after a while. At the time, honestly, i still was hoping to get her hooked again(bad mentality i admit it, that's how it is when you're young🤣). So i went to her party and there she hooked up with my best friend. I wouldn't have had any problem if it would have been any other guy, but not my best friend! Then the next day in the morning she textes me: "I'm so sorry about last night for making you feel bad, i drinked too much and i wasn't ok" I didn't even reply to her. i ghosted her just like you said în the video. And i will never talk to her ever again. I feel great about it!

That's excellent and important advice, Tripp. How do you apply this if third persons are involved? For example if you're member of a band or a sports team and just one of the others treats you poorly but the rest are really good people. Do you have any take on this? Ghosting would be fairly difficult in that kind of situation without ghosting the whole group.

Whenever he treats me badly I still think that maybe having a bad day maybe going through with some stuffs or don't know. But this behaviour eats me day by day. When i cry he is not giving damn , he says don't do drama and don't laugh, don't try when you can't cry. I'm in dilema. Can't find a way to come out of this rattrap kinda thing. It's not that I lack said esteem, when my partner treats me like crap, I call her out on it. I can't ignore and injustice like that when I don't do anything wrong and she gets very angry and has a superior look to her. It's not just me she's told me many stories of people who she's been really horrible to and they're now scared of her. At least I'm not scared of her and tell it to her straight. 85% of the time, she's lovely. But occasionally, she gets really angry for incredibly minor things by other people around her. Before we got engaged, her father just warned me that she can lash she's a sharp tongue. But, years later, he also said that he was proud that he trained her to lash. And he seems to have no empathy. And he wants to kill all dogs.

This happened to me in 2016/2017. My girlfriend dumped me in 2015 and I was trying to make new friends in college, meet new girls. I became interested in a girl from my class , we were good friends and we texted for some time but after a while she became upset with me because I "texted her a lot". I tried to talk to her for a few times. She didn't want to talk to me and I respected it. The problem was that she started to talk s*** about me behind my back and in front of me saying that I was a stalker, sometimes humiliating me in front of my friends sometimes just for looking at her. I lost all my confidence... Today we are ok but at that time my confidence was at 0. I still have problems in making friends (girls) because of it. I used to be a guy with charisma and I didn't ahve any problems of talking or making new friends but after that I really can't say anything, I prefer not talking at all than being ghosted. I know that's not how I should solve the problem but I don't have friends to talk to about this things anymore, I put myself on this black hole and I can't get out
