This was awesome! I’m deconstructing my Isshin deck that’s currently a samurai tribal and making it more of a catch-all attack trigger deck. I have lots of anthem cards in there so I was looking for an interesting tribal to make. Konda’s banner is in my Isshin deck but will be a nice anthem for this deck. It gives +1/+1 to any of the white non-griffin creatures, and then +2/+2 to all griffins.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and that's an awesome suggestion for the deck as well. Zeriam is a pretty fun tribal commander and you're right that equipment would be huge for the list. If you're looking for other options I'd also recommend Baru though he's mono-green so wouldn't help too much in finding a home for your non-artifact Isshin cards but Wurms are also pretty budget friendly and also fun. At first i thought zeriam was terrible so i took it out of my dihada deck. I then read it again and realised the massive board state i could create. I play an Omnath Locus of Rage deck so i do love me tokens that smash face. Thanks for the vid. Might build a Zeriam deck if my wallet can take it.

If you were just looking for zeriam triggers you should look at cards like universal automaton. It's every creature type and it's a 1 drop.

Try this commander out! It‘s so underrated and powerful! Continues to show hundreds of dollars worth of cards… man, this isn’t what EDH is supposed to be about. Totally just my personal opinion (and luckily that of my playgroup); we always try to keep the prices around 50 bucks a deck with the occasional „I pulled this super expensive card so it makes my deck technically more expensive, but not really“. Believe me - it‘s more fun

I see these comments a lot and normally the decklist price goes up because of the versions of the cards in the deck list like secret lair specials, the prices change since release, etc. Though mostly I don't factor in budget for these videos because its really subjective for whoever is watching. I just want to make suggestions for a deck and let people decide what works best for them.

You are sleeping on some pump effects that give alternate win cons. You can pump all your creatures FAST with coat of arms into an altar of dementia either milling yourself for a juicy dusk//dawn then returning all your low power griffins back or you can pump make them mill

You're right there's a ton of anthem effects in white that could get added to the list. In my test games I was out-scaling my opponents so often that I decided not to run too many for power reasons. Elesh Norn would also be great in this deck. Thanks for the suggestions!

@@MadHatterYT also lithoform engine can copy any card doubling your anthems as well because after you get your engine going you need anthems to finish or to go wider copy your anointed procession and copy your trigger from your commander making quadruple going wider faster because removal for the card is so prevalent
