Man, did that Sublime bar look good to me! (but I love peanuts) I wish our chocolate bars were small like that. Ours are so big! I also wish we had cookies that were less sweet. Secret of the Andes sounds like a fun read. It has a llama! (I love llamas!)

I wish we had more smaller size chocolate bars too. Yes, the main character boy in Secret of the Andes is going to go on an adventure with his llama. I still hope to finish it this month.

The only books I've read that are kind of "set in Peru"... sort of... are the Nede Rising books, A Gentle Tyranny and A Brutal Justice by Jess Corban. They don't SAY Peru, but they describe the area and I feel like Jess said they were loosely set there but it wasn't named. I hope I'm remembering that right. The Sublime makes me think of a Mr. Goodbar.Just a thick one.

I was glad I did find one book from Peru. It hasn't worked out for the other boxes I got from them. I'm so unfamiliar with that part of the world. It will be good to read Secret of the Andes.

I tried 2 new fruits this last week! I saw TabiEats on KZbin go to a cafe in Japan, and they had desserts with yuzu. Can't get that here, but our grocery store had a Japanese style cheesecake, yuzu flavour! Like a less tart lemon/orange/grapefruit/lime combo. Very nice! The other thing I saw was Chikoo. Had to try it based on the name! It's like a caramelized pear, surprisingly delicious!

I had to look up the prawn crackers because whoa what a flavor choice that is! Apparently the Oishi brand is from the Philippines-so certainly unexpected in your Peru box. Most of the other things they sent look yummy! I wonder if some of the chocolate wasn't as sweet because it's made with a higher percentage of cocoa? Does your card say if Peru is a cocoa producer? I have no idea. Thanks for being a brave soul and being our taste-tester. These are such fun videos!

I read a cozy mystery this month that involved a margarita flower as a clue that broke the mystery wide open. I won’t say which cozy mystery since it’s a spoiler. Interesting coincidence since you mentioned the cookie with that flower on it.
