The irony of the elder wand was that everyone thought themselves invulnerable. Yet this would bring many to Death, the one who made the wand. The Unbeatable wand is the illusion. It is the most powerful of wands but isn't unbeatable. As proven by many who lost it.

I"d like to create a Hogwarts alike school in Latin America, because of the magic around the Pre Colombian and Pre European Conquest peoples. As a Mexican, I can mention that Aztecs were animagi, called nahuales. Some of the nahuales actually fought against the Spanish conquerors, but didn't win because they feared the men riding a horse. My Aztec ancestors thought that men and horse were one creature and they couldn't fight something they haven't seen before, thus the origin of the fear

While I am not in any way an expert my books told me that the wast reason the europeans was able to win so well in North and South American was the decies that they brought with them. Many more died of that than the actual battles and I mean it is easy enough to conguere ghost towns. As for the magical schools I believe there is no Mexican official confirmed but one in Brazil. But your ideas sounds great.

How did dumbledore duel grindelwald and kill his sister if the blood pact was in play?
@kunaljitsarkar56242 күн бұрын
They fought with out intention to kill each other, and how Albus sister died is I think she was an obscure and due to her repressed magic and concerns about her older brother she tried to protect him but as we all know obscure power is unpredictable and very very dangerous i think it was that power rebound and killed her. And both Albus and grimdalworld both blame each other for her death thinking they r the cause for her untimely demise

How many schools were there in the wizard world besides Hogwarts?
@lordcheesus10132 ай бұрын
Lots. The three main "stars" of castles, so to speak, as seen in the books and movies were: Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons. Even America had the school Ilvermorny. Russia, Japan, Uganda, and even the Amazon Rainforest all had their own respective Wizarding schools as well. I think the main idea was that pretty much every major world region had its own school for magic in order to make it easier to access magical education and development.

Elder wand is supposed to be the most powerful & was in possession of Grindelwald then how did Dumbledore win against such a powerful wand? Or the wand never truly responded to Grindelwald just like it didn't respond to Voldemort.. hence both Dumbledore & Harry could defeat their opponents? Interesting 🤔

Voldemort is such a weak character. There's more information to spark the imagination about Grindelwald, Ekrizdis and Raczidian but Voldemort showed nothing particularly prodigious as he supposedly was. In fact he was a basic, shallow character. They showed NOTHING of this wizard that "Pushed the boundaries of magic" as he says.
@MagusMortloch8 күн бұрын
You only think that because you have not read the books and the movies got the character of Voldemort wrong... There is a reason why most in the wizarding world was afraid to say his name. "At the age of one year old, Harry had somehow survived a curse from the greatest Dark sorcerer of all time, Lord Voldemort, whose name most witches and wizards still feared to speak" HP2 The Chamber of Secrets Chapter 1.

@headstrongbachelor3152 I've read all the books multiple times, I was 11 when the first came out I have the set in first edition, I qeued up 00:30am outside WHSMITHS in the UK with my parents to buy them on release. I stand by what I say. You've said nothing to prove otherwise. Voldemort is the most shallow of characters, he has shown no incredible feats and has shown none in the books or films.
@MagusMortloch6 күн бұрын
@@adz260689 " he has shown no incredible feats" You are not impressed by his necromantic power to raise an army of inferi which no other dark wizard in history had done? His ability to fly without broom? His ability and skill to apperate in silence during combat that almost got Dumbledore killed? His curse on the DADA position that not even Dumbledore could remove? This are just few we have seen as the teller in second book states this: "At the age of one year old, Harry had somehow survived a curse from the greatest Dark sorcerer of all time, Lord Voldemort, whose name most witches and wizards still feared to speak" HP2 The Chamber of Secrets Chapter 1.
@adz2606895 күн бұрын
@@MagusMortloch Necromantic power? That's not a thing and it's not stated proven that no one else did it. In fact Grindelwald sought to use an army of inferi so no Voldemort wasn't the only one to know this magic he was the only one WE know who has. Snape could fly without a broom too and most likely other death eaters although not seen. Dumbledore, Voldemort and Narcissa could also apparate silently that doesn't imply much. Curse on DADA granted but still we've SEEN nothing
@MagusMortloch5 күн бұрын
@@adz260689 Grindelwald never manage to create an army inferi. He mistakenly believe it could be done through the resurrection stone, so yes it was Voldemort who invented that as such feat was believed to be impossible. All the magical defences around the horcruxes was Voldemort own invention. The cursed ring that killed Dumbledore was Voldemort's own invention. The rebirth ritual was his invention. In lore we learn that Voldemort during his combat with the greatest of wizards in the first wizarding war expressed feats and powers that was believed to be impossible (which allowed him to defeat them so he could either kill them or torture them with legilimency). There is a reason why most in the wizarding world was afraid to say his name. As Rowling states he is the greatest dark wizard of all time.

I dislike every story element after the 1st movie. Shoehorning LGBTQ crap into a beloved character actually produces a struggle to avoid a nefarious view of a grooming and manipulative characteristic that is juxtaposed with the actual previous description. The "blood pact" also seems to be a misstep. Dumbledore's fear of being the one who cast the magic that killed his sister is more than enough motivation to avoid the upcoming battle between the gifted Dumbledore and the Elder Wand wielding Grendelwald. In essence, Movie 2 is a HUGE error in story continuity and plot progression. Newt is a wonderful character...but his pursuit of knowledge and care of creatures takes a huge backseat to the Dumbledore/Grendelwald friendship, betrayal, and battle. So much so, that one would quickly surmise that it SHOULD be a completely separate story or series. If I were doing this, I would keep the 1st movie. 2nd movie would be centered on Grendelwald, his motivations, his expulsion from Durmstrang...which, as mentioned...is incredibly lenient in the use of Dark Arts...add to this a mysterious figure in the background at Durmstrang that is cunning, subtle, and appears to be the source of Grendelwald's increasingly evil behavior Next 2 movies we center on Dumbledore. ..bring in Newt, Batilda Bagshot (this will make her death even MORE impactful later), and likely a 3rd key figure...like Moody. Big finale...Dumbledore wins an epic battle. 5th movie... Hagrid comes to Hogwarts. And Tom Riddle is there already. 6th Movie. The Mauraders. Movie Trilogy The Curse Child...my version...which has ZERO to do with that fan fic drivel. And we finally discover who that mysterious figure is at Durmstrang....and discover the Sorting Hat's meaning of the thrice cursed child. There. I just made JK Rowling millions...without being WOKE or having a spiraling out of control plot. She should give me a call. 😃
