I LOVED my MyScene dolls. My mom would tell me how jealous she was, because they had different body types and skin colors and didn't look like plastic surgery rejects like Bratz did with some AWESOME fashion! I had a working club for them that let me plug in my CD player and play music through the dancefloor speakers. Good times!! I was 16 and STILL playing with those girls. When I got older, I let my brother inherit them. He loved them until he took them to school for show and tell one day. He tried to happily tell the class how his sister let him have her precious dolls... so sweet. :C Unfortunately, the boys bullied him and damaged the dolls - so he never touched them again, but would never let mom get rid of them. It was a huge deal when my little sister got to inherit them next, when my brother finally let go of them and let her have some to play with. I'm pretty sure my brother was 17 and I still caught him stealing some of their clothes from her room from time to time tho.... XD He would NEVER admit it.

Funny story, I live in part of asia in which the majority religion is Islam, and there was this hijabi barbie that was so popular when I was in elementary, I think it was around 2009-2010? She was so popular that I thought she's an official barbie from, well, Barbie. Turns out it's like a dupe brand of barbie, like they just put hijab on a fake barbie doll, put their brand and sell it for muslim children. I can't remember the brand of the doll, but it was so popular they even got TV commercials especially around Ramadhan, because at Eid, young children usually got pocket money from the elders in the family, so we will count the money we go and spend it all on toys. I remember I had three I think of these hijab barbies? They even have Ken in muslim attire too it was so funny. I gotta say, having these barbies in hijab made me feel closer to my religion in my childhood because "Barbie is wearing hijab like me and my mom too" and I was really really obsessed with barbie princesses so these hijab barbies made me love my hijab even more.

There is something so pleasing about watching grown men play with dolls. And the stories they play out make me feel super validated with how I played as a kid. Hope they do cabbage patch kids, my little pony, grand champion horses, jurassic park toys, polly pockets, troll dolls, playmobil, monster high, Bratz, everafter high, etc. Do full history of the dolls and then let the guys go nuts playing with em. This made me miss my 3 ft tall ballroom dancing barbie. I ended up using her for a halloween decoration. Ryan being so stoked about the barbie power wheels jeep was such a mood. I wanted one of those so badly as a kid. Well, I wanted the jurassic park power wheels jeep, but still, wanted a power wheels.
