All of the different people helping (the taxi driver that stayed with Keith and Kwesi, the wedding attendants, the ladies that helped Zach learn how to gamble, the groups of people trying to help do the party bus task (especially the girl who also ran around the casino after helping to find a bachelorette party), the amusement park employee who gave them a free hour of rides, the people who rode in the limo) were all so kind and heartwarming! The main thing I learned from my one visit to Vegas is that, especially in full daylight, the city is way more run down and sleazy looking than you'd think. Like the restaurants and shows are all still good obviously, but the hotels that aren't really expensive are pretty mediocre at best and the various outdoor attractions are not exactly amazing. Obviously lots of people still enjoy it, but I was very underwhelmed.

Having 3 teams can help hide who's team is where too so their locations still stay a secret. Please, please, PLEASE do more of these city scavenger hunts. Sure Vegas was EPIC- but NYC, Chicago, LA, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland (BOTH OF THEM) would all be so fun! And you could even do a random relatively small town and do “cliche” small town things- buy something on clearance from Walmart, have lunch at a locally owned dive, visit XYZ historical landmark, go to city hall and ask to meet the mayor (or something similar), ask the local librarian for a book recommendation, donate to the local animal shelter, pet a dog at the dog park, rent a scooter (or similar), go to the skate park and tell someone to do a kick flip, …. So many OPPORTUNITIES for fun, random “on the street” content.

This brings back memories of 2010, the first and only time I went to Vegas for a long weekend. My dad had a huge business conference there, decided to make it an anniversary trip with the wife and couldn’t leave the kids at home. You can’t pay me to go back there, but it’s cool seeing some of the stuff I missed because my activities were limited only to the Strip. It’s so awesome that Zach and Johnny were able to witness a wedding there, with Elvis officiating no less. I think that was my most favorite thing in this video full of great things to see and do.
