I'm getting married in exactly one month and have like 1000 of these to dye dark green and black. This video just saved me so much time and money!!🙌🙌

What is the purpose of adding anything but water to powdered dye, like glycerin OR soap

Mix 2 tablespoons of acrylic paint+ 1/2 c room temp water. Then add some room temp glycerin. If your color isn't bold enough all you have to do is save your paint mixture, stir it up and dip them again the next day. It's also way more affordable. (It's also hard to compare Rit with Acrylic paints when they aren't identical shades, maybe that's why the black ones all looked the same)

Definitely!

Questions: will the Dawn keep the flowers flexible after they dry? Also, if you need more specialty colors that aren’t available in RIT dye - how do you get those really dark? Like a burgundy or emerald green or navy etc? Thanks!

Dawn does keep flowers somewhat flexible after drying. Glycerin definitely does a better job in my experience. To get more specialized colors go to your local paint store and ask them to make you a sample size in the color you need and play around with the water & paint ratio until your coverage is good. 🥰
