Fei, as a 32 year old girlie let me tell you this. The best part of your 30s is wearing whatever makes you happy and not caring if someone else thinks you're "too old" to wear something. I am fully going to the TWICE concert this summer in a denim miniskirt and diesel belt and idgaf if someone thinks I'm too old to do that. 💅

Your existential crisis of pacing in the closet and contemplating all of your fashion choices was SO relatable. I've been through that many times 😂 I think a lot of us can relate to switching between styles/aesthetics. I know my closet has a wide variety-- but I feel like that just speaks to how humans aren't one specific way all the time. One day you want to lounge at home in a big, worn-out t-shirt, and the next, you want to go all-out with a cute dress and heels. Personally, I like to give people whiplash by switching my aesthetic all the time. Keep 'em guessing lol because my personality has so many different facets that one style just can't encapsulate.

I'm going through all your clothing decluttering videos, and they're so entertaining - both hilarious and emotional. I kind of would love to see you do another where you redo them (like the skirts or jeans) to see how much you've come from that point and do some further declutter. I remember when I was going through a similar process (not just with clothes but with every belonging I've ever owned), it was that first round that was so hard for me. But by the end, I was getting rid of CLUMPS of stuff with zero hesitation because I was able to see much more clearly what I already had, and I also trained myself in understanding that my quality of life comes from what I do and who I spend time with rather than the items I hold on to. Like having a shirt I love that doesn't fit me will constantly remind me of that arbitrary gap between what I want and what I'm not; but throwing the shirt away also throws the gap away and I'm left ONLY with things that indisputably bring me joy exactly as I am and as I'm not. I hope that all made sense. Either way you're doing an INCREDIBLE job.

Fei I love you but I really can't watch videos like this and enjoy it because it hurts seeing you being so dishonest to yourself like that. I know it's hard letting go of sentimental clothing/things but you talk about things not fitting/not making you happy and for some random reason you still keeping it. "It doesn't flatter me, it's serving diaper, it's an allergic cat" and you still keeping them. I know it's hard but in the long run, only keeping clothes that fit you and actually make you happy instead of guilt tripping yourself into liking them will be so much more rewarding. It reminds me a lot of myself, maybe that's why I get so frustrated watching them. All the love to you and your self love journey ♥️

As someone who got “skinny” and am now back to the before body, I have clothes I hope to fit again someday. I’m not sure if I’m ready to get rid of them, but this motivated me to at least store them away in a bag and out of my closet - so I’m not always reaching for them to try it on and them cry in disappointment when I don’t fit. I’m going to store them away somewhere until I lose the 15kgs haha. Baby steps. Lol
