All Peroxide Strips work, Even Dollar Tree cheap ones. I've kept them on for an hour and even up to 3hours no problem. I've used with and without a light. Save your money on the light. It's honestly not needed.

@@ioana6599 Don't pay for crest! Get The Equate from Walmart. They are like $16. I used these for up to 3 hrs several days a week. Like3 treatments at an hour then I moved up to 4 treatments at 3 hrs since the strips didn't make my teeth sensitive. Now try to keep them off your gums. I used a light also. But I believe the peroxide did it period tho. Now the even cheaper out there do bother my teeth. But since my teeth are white now from time to time I'll slap a cheap one on for 30 mins to freshen up any dullness. Dollar Tree 3 treatments $1.25 can't beat that Trays bother my teeth also. So I only use them 30 mins. But for me the equate @ Walmart worked perfectly. I tried out trays and others after my teeth were already white as they can get thinking maybe they'd get whiter. Lol

They do not remove enamel. They hurt because they clean the plugs in your teeth. Teeth have many many tiny holes that tunnel all the way down to your nerves. Cleaning the plugs allows air to get down to your nerve. The sensitivity is only temporary, use toothpaste like Sensodyne to re-plug the holes.

its normal for teeth to feel sensitive after prolonged use of whitening strips especially crest cuz i think its formula is stronger than cheaper brands. the trick i heard is to stick to the maximum time indicated on the package. don't let it stay on your teeth above that time or overnight yeesh! thats gonna make breathing feel weird for ur teeth. (if u stuck to the timetable in the package n still feel sensitivity on ur teeth, maybe its just ur first time feeling this type of sensitivity so avoid cold food or water for a while ig to reduce discomfort idk xD goodluck there)

However, whitening strips and getting your teeth whitened professionally (makes your teeth really sensitive a lot stronger) use peroxide or chlorine dioxide which goes deep in your teeth and actually bleaches them. Also whitening strips have barely any compared to getting your teeth professionally whitened so it’s normally safe it just might just make your teeth a bit sensitive.
