I’ve watched your videos for atleast a year or two now and it’s inspired to me to do my own polygel nails and now I’ve bought hard gel to try out. I also used this slip solution before, I found that it’s the slip solution making the white film over the polygel. Usually the polygel itself is fine, I use a different alcohol now which works fine if not better than that solution 💗

I actually like the quality of this polygel. You can also get it on Amazon. Yes, the white part is an ongoing issue. It always shows up on the nail. However, this gel stays on your nail forever! Like, it does not lift for anything.

The white cast on the plum nails is from using too much slip solution. With certain polygel systems, they may be made of more parts acrylic then gel or vice versa, and when your brush is too saturated with the slip solution (that came with the nail kit or if using acetone or alcohol as the slip solution) the polygel will start to break down while curing in the lamp. This happens with certain polygel brands

I've tried that brand of polygel in clear. I will say it's very clear, but If you're trying to use it to build nails using dual forms I found that they break off within a day or so. I tried to do them a couple of ways just in case it was something I was doing wrong, but I couldn't get then to not snap off. If you're building on a plastic nail extension it would probably be fine, but I just don't own those because I prefer using dual forms or the sticker nail forms. Just a heads up
