Heyyyyy lovelies, I am trying something brand new in todays video. Something I have never done before but is fully inspired by the incredible work of Lia Dia Design. / liadiadesigns
Her creativity and art is simply stunning and elite. I fully recommend checking her out of you would like to see how this is done properly ha ha. I am using the pebeo relief with epoxy resin and I am tracing a design from one of my silk screens that I absolutely love. The silk screen can be found on my Amazon storefronts.

I used to do craft days with kids in the craft dept I ran. I would draw pictures on 30 + dinner plates, glasses, mugs etc a day using pebeo for the children to colour with ceramic or glass paint. Sometimes we would do silk painting. It was hard at first but got used to it. Got good at it too eventually 😂. It takes a lot of practice. Claire you did well, better than I was in the beginning. ❤

Hi Claire, they came out very pretty. They remind me of the dress designer Lilly Pulitzer. Do you think if you did a small amount of clear before the solid color, it would keep the 3D effect? ❤

Good to know! I picked up some of this Pebeo months ago but haven't tried it yet. I'm concerned that between the arthritis in my hands and lupus, that'll be too hard for me to squeeze. I'll look into those Pinflair Pearl Wands.

The tubes are softer and the hole at the top is slightly larger. I had a go with a bookmark just doing some line art and filling in the spaces with UV coloured resin, it turned out well. My friend has lupus and her hands are bad with arthritis too

I love watching you bc you’re so real and you don’t worry about what anyone thinks. I too watched Nadia, from LiaDiaDesigns and she is a phenomenal artist and makes Pebeo looks so easy. I actually bought her pebeo done hummingbirds and others so I can pour in the little spots. I made it look like I used a paintbrush, lol, instead of a teeny tiny tip. Keep on making your amazing videos. Love Debbie from Acton Canada🇨🇦♥️❤️

These are awesome! They’re giving me Miami pop art tropical vibes! I think if you poured the pink background first and then did the relief paint on top, you would keep that 3d leaded stained glass look. You would fill in the leaves from the top and then fill in the outer area with clear… maybe? 😂 Idk. I think that’s what Lia Dia does. She makes it look way easier than it is! I’ve never done it, but I really want to try it, now.

I think they’re very good examples of a specific style of art. The question is whether it’s a type of art that appeals to the viewer. Perhaps this is a more divisive style? Or one that people feel more strongly about: one way or another? To me, I agree that it fits the style of illustration I recall from my childhood, reading both Roald Dahl and Shel Silverstein books.

I've started learning g how to zentangle. Kinda helps with my anxiety. And I was wondering if I would be able to incorporate it with the resin and I think doing this it would be possible to mix the 2. Some if the zenrangle patterns would delicately make it look very random

I think the idea is brilliant, but I've had a tube of that paint and it is not the easiest thing to use. I imagine there could be alternative ways to achieve this look. I think doing the piece the other way around, pink first, then relief, and the green, might make it more like stained glass. And now I'm thinking, maybe you could make the lines with black polyner clay, even bake them in the mold (before the initial resin layer), and then fill them with resin. I need to look up my paint stash to see if this is the paint I have, and give this a try.

I love the colors and the idea you have here! I think You've lost the 3D effect because you need to keep the top the top and not as the bottom. When you used the bottom side as the top of the coaster, of course what you see is the flattened line of the black outlines you drew. Doing it with the thought that what you are looking at is your top, you will keep the raised edges of your outlines! Then probably have to do a back coat after unmolding but I think this will give you the look you were expecting. I can't wait to see your abstract designs!!!!! 💜

How did the 6-month workout in one day felt like ? …😂😂😂. It looked like you ran a marathon by the time you finished drawing those lines. Lol but you did really good & they turned out beautifully!!!! I agree that a thicker raised black line might work for this type of technique but I’m not sure if it’s Tulip or Pebeo (could be both) . I know there’s a black dimensional paint by Tulip or perhaps the Pebeo Fantasy paints which also look like puffy paints that you can use for the outline. Is all trial & error until you find the perfect one. You’ll get there as you practice more. 🎉🩵🧸🩷🎉
