You actually can drag image files directly into clip studio, you just have to drop them in the layer panel like, above or in between other layers. A red line appears to show when you can drop the images. It's not very intuitive for sure, and I always instinctively drop the images on the canvas on accident, but it is possible. 😅

I think the reason why the smooth hand grab challenge is so popular is it's a great way to practice face angles and also hand gestures (and it's hot/cute but we don't talk about that). we all know how freaking hard drawing hands is (let's not even talk about animating hands), and everyone doing the challenge is flexing their hand drawing abilities XD (im jelly) Your version of it was super cute. I've also seen versions where they gently tap on the screen and the character adjust their angle by themself. One of my favs is the artist accidently drawing on their character's glasses, and the character removes them in a "wtf did u just do" expression XD

Tbh, the thing about the hands looking like your own (all jokes aside) really applies to me. When I'm making finished drawings, I have enough time to make them look nice, but when I draw hand frames for my webcomic, my protagonist's hands look disgusting and spidery, which isn't too far from my own hands.

3:00 As someone who enjoys making OCs, I normally create the character’s appearance, personality, gender, etc & then immediately go to thinking about their background & past. Afterward, I end up creating a Gacha character for them with an app I use and then draw them. I normally use them in roleplays afterward to expand their character development, etc. so yeah! :D
