Zereshk is barberis the fesenjan is made with pomegranate which is anar in persian . Sumac is made from a type of Berry also which is dried and made into a powder

Ghormesabzi is definitely main and you should have it with rice together,I wish you asked the waiter how to eat it.salad shirazi is mostly eaten with the meal not on it's own

Hello guys, I am Iranian Definitely try Mirza Ghasemi instead of kashkbadmjan and Doogh is a drink made by diluting yogurt with water Ayran is created from the process of centrifuging Doogh. Centrifugation separates Doogh fat in the form of butter. But the Doogh that is made in Iran is much better than the Doogh that you drank in this program. It is also more diverse in flavors. and Sangak bread is very healthy

Thank you for introducing Persian food to people, But You had a few mistakes: 'Somac' is not "Grape leaves"! It's a type of seed and it has been used around the world for a long time , even by native americans! 'Zereshk' is not "Pomegranate" , It's Barberry! 'Ghormeh Sabzi' is definitely not a side, It's a khoresh, It's the main part of the dish and comes with rice, you need to mix them while eating! same goes with 'Gheyme' and 'Fesenjoon'. 'Gheyme' doesn't have any "Lentils" , Its main ingredient is Split Peas , which is something totally different. Note: Eating 'Fesenjoon' with 'ZereshkPolo' is like eating pizza in a burger bun, they are just parts of two different food.
