Absolutely delicious !!! Stingray, chicken wings, satay … that’s a feast! The cucumber and onion is, as you say, a palate cleanser but I dunk them in the peanut sauce anyway (so much for the palate cleansing 😂), it’s just too good.

Wonderful time at Chomp Chomp and yes, I would also dunk my onion and cucumber in the peanut sauce. 😂

Hi Grif, you may want to try adding lemon slice to the sugar cane drink next time. Cost a little more but taste more refreshing.

That is an awesome idea. Thanks for the suggestion Janice! 🫶

Wow! The Skewers and the wings look amazing! 🤤 Stingray has been on my list but in Malaysia. Had no idea Singapore had it too. Very Nice!

Yeah, never would have imagined eating stringray in Singapore. But it was very yummy. Felt good to be having a night out with BBQ and beer. 😂

Sugar Can juice + Wedge of Lemon = Super refreshing!
Stingray was nothing like I expected. Clean, tender meat with very neutral flavors. If you enjoy fish, I think you'll like stringray.

Great video but $3 for sugarcane juice! Wow its just a dollar in other countries. Chomp Chomp is famous for its carrot cake and bbq chicken wings. There's another better hawker centre just a short walk away.
@simplyme330614 күн бұрын
That's a larger size. Also you have to compare developed country to another developed country.

I appreciate your tip about the other hawker center, I'll have to check it out on my next trip!

@simplyme3306 I'm from Singapore, I know. No ice it's more but in Thailand n Cambodia, less than a dollar

If you like Indian food go to the indian district and indulge yourself. I remember being there in the '90 and simply loved it.

Sugarcane juice liked 80% ice and 20% juice, also the fried hokkien mee is one of the worst here, full of msg...

What does sugar cane juice taste like?
@grifsfoodandtravel14 күн бұрын
Very difficult to explain the flavor. But if I was to say what it tastes like, I would have to say it has a similar flavor to simple syrup. Natural sweetness!
@tgilroytg13 күн бұрын
@ hmm so a sugar drink with no real flavour. I don’t think I could.
