Hi everyone, welcome or welcome back to my KZbin channel!! In today's video I tried a beetles gel x dupe kit from Amazon! I didn’t like this kit for a few reasons 😅 I also did a fun cat eye X chrome nail design ✨ I hope you enjoy!

I love the Beetles brand gel x nails. I’ve never ever had a problem with their tips or the adhesive gel, it’s what I always use and my nails will stay on up to 4 weeks. Now I hate almond shaped tips, period, don’t care who makes them, they’re just not a pretty shape for me, or omp. That lamp is the bomb, I bought it by itself as soon as Beetles launched it, love the extra long cord it has with it, so much nicer than their original lamp. I hope this review doesn’t deter anyone from using their products, bc in my opinion they’re amazing.

I don't like full matte tips from anyone, ao that could be her issue. I did not like this kit. Sent it bsck and got beetles regular clear tips, they were great!

Not everything will suit everyone and I like knowing what issues you had and what items you found value in I’m thankful for your honest opinion of your experience with it. I recall your other videos with beetles products as mostly positive this doesn’t stop me from buying from them it just helps me decide which products are best for me so thank you 😊

I bought one of their original tip kits with coffin shaped nails, they weren’t etched like these almond ones are either. Might be the difference in how these specific nails performed, but I never had any issues with the kit I bought and ended up buying several other nail tips from them. All coffin, but different lengths, still no issues.

I’m kinda torn about this kit. Cause I usually don’t ever have any problems with this brand, and I have this same exact kit (except mine is the square tips). But the nail glue is definetly on the thinner side, wayyyy thinner than the Daily Charme one (the DC is my favorite one too). But your nail glue in this kit seems way watery compared to mine. I dunno, maybe you got a bad batch? It could also be that you’re used to other brands consistency. Which kinda sucks because Daily Charme is pretty pricey, but their products are so amazing! Sometimes, it’s better to pay a little extra for quality (if ya know what I mean). I loved this colorful set!! I’m so pumped because I ordered those exact stickers and they should be here today or tomorrow! I can’t wait to use them!! I hope you have a nice week Brandi!! 💕

I definitely think it was this kit the nail tip’s specifically, they were just very flat/no apex, very thin and felt flimsy. The glue gel worked I just feel I had a little bit of problems with it because of the nail tips being so flat and not fitting me very well. The other Beetles tip kits I have tried in the past i’ve really liked, I think personally I would just avoid the buffed medium almond nail shape kit. I wonder though if they have other medium almond nail tips that are better?

@@NailedByBrandi I honestly think it might be the Almond shaped tips that throw me off. Cause everybody that I see who uses this specific kit, they never get the Almond ones. Me personally, I don’t really like the Almond shape. I’m more of a square or coffin (I like my nails short though). But I’ve even used the long square and long coffin ones from this brand, and I never had problems with either of them. After I had wrote that comment earlier, I went and checked the tips that I have, and they are very sturdy. They are the Beetles ones too. I had bought a bunch of different sizes and shapes back when they were having all the sales. So I was able to try all of them out. But yea, I haven’t tried the Almond ones (I don’t even have them). So I guess I can’t really say if it’s the Almond tips or not. However, there’s a TON of other cheaper Gel-X kits. They raised the price of these ones to like $25 (I don’t remember the exact amount). But the “BTArt box Gel-X” kits are so much better than this specific kit. Even the “TobeGlam” kit is pretty good. It just depends on if you want the Gel Glue in a squeeze tube, or the regular kind in the bottle. Sorry, I know I’m ranting on here lol. But yea, that’s my 2cents on that 😂😂

They're beautiful Brandi and that chrome on top wow...I've never used the Beetles full cover nail's before because I read somewhere they're acrylic not gel 🤷‍♀️...I use the Apres, Flossy and one that start's with a G (Gellux maybe) that I bought from Amazon in a kit...I do however love Beetles gel polishes I have the mermaid set and the colour's are beautiful I'm looking forward to the warmer weather to use them...thankyou for sharing xo 💜💅💜

I have one right sort of what you have it never fails EVERY time I used the glue that your talking about it never fails my nails would fall right off and yes I have all the nail supplies and deydrater base top coats I had a horrible experience with beetles supplies I stopped using the products period the tips are good though so yeah.

Well, Beetles have fallen 😂. I have a box of their square tips & they are one of the few that have larger size nails. I know 0 is too big! First time ever😂. Also, they have a nice apex. Mine aren't matte & they came in a box of 500. Those almond nails 😢. Sad. I remember the polish's & chrome. Pretty. 🕊

These full matte ones are trash. Beetles regular clear tips are great. I sent back that exact kit bcuz of the nail tips, bought regular clear beetles tips and they were fine. I have the same issue with 0 always being my thumb size/too high of an apex as well. I can use a 1 in some of the beetles too!
