The slider is the best thing on the menu and I get that over the tenders every time. The tenders by themselves at hot and beyond just seem like they pour paprika and cayenne all over it. But the slider is so well balanced with the sauce and the slaw and the pickles. And they’re pretty much the size of a chic fil a sandwich so I just do the 1 slider combo which is only $9.99 so not a bad deal fr

And the chicken really isn’t that bad.. it’s crunchy, NOT oily but also not too dry, which is GREAT for a fast food place.. like chicken strips from Popeyes for example drench my fingers but canes doesn’t.. I genuinely feel like yall have lost your taste buds from drenching too much salt and oil on your food… or you are all over exaggerating.

Im happy to see Daves growing, but and theres definite buts is the fact with that ive seen the menu go up twice since they first opened and ive gone to some spots where the consistency was not kept. With all these new locations theres bound to be a few flops between undercooked unseasoned as much fries and overcooked chicken with wildly diff temp levels to where very hot taste closer to mediums standard. I live in Cali so we got all kinds of new poppin chicken spots since Daves blew up that do it better and even more consistent and some of those food trucks with no overhead that do some crazy ass good food n portion. They seem to put a lil more love into it being smaller less cororate competition to daves. And dont get me wrong id knock back a few of those sliders right now just saying its gotten a bit too pricy for the experience had other then a splurge now n then when not by someone better.

I freakin love this place. They opened one up the street from me in Phoenix a couple years ago. Delicious and consistently good. The pickles with the chicken together is amazing. I get the tenders, the portions are huge …looks bigger than what ya’ll got in that picture. 8.5 outta 10.
