Yes! Boba places use "brown sugar" and "black sugar" interchangeably because they're talking about a different kind of brown sugar! It's not the normal kind that you can buy at the grocery store, it's a specific kind of brown sugar also known as "dark brown sugar" or "muscovado sugar" which has more of a rich & deep molasses/brown sugar flavor. So when I'm using "brown sugar" and "black sugar" interchangeably in the video it's because I'm referring to the special kind of brown sugar used in boba!

You should try TJ cups! It's a pretty small shop on Noreiga but they are so good! Pro-Tip: if you like a strong tea flavor just ask for extra tea (some places do it, some don't but TJ's does!)

Please try TJ Cups (Thai tea, matcha, signature milk tea, genmaicha milk tea). Eggettes Has the good Hong Kong Milk tea and Papaya Milk shake/ Avocado. Nameless tea & Cafe. These three boba places have good chewy boba
