@@mambaforever3239 It's just his opinion, doesn't mean it is the ultimatum. I have eaten at ramen restaurants and everyone has had instant ramen noodles and other instant foods. I've been to so many good restaurants that It just isn't believable that MSG-laced, freeze-dried food in a plastic bowl tastes better than chef-prepared fresh ramen and restaurant food with fresh or frozen meats and vegetables (frozen vegs are picked at their prime and are often better than supermarket produce vegs). Note: I'm not defending Cheesecake Factory as it also has MSG. My favorite is Junior's cheesecakes.

If you’re near Redmond/Bellevue, I’d recommend giving Dough Zone and Facing East a try! Dough Zone - great dumplings Facing East - Pork Burger, Taiwanese beef noodle soup!

Lol! I like the avocado rolls too! I think the sweetness was coming from the sauce he dipped it in. The 🥑 egg roll isn’t sweet by itself. He should have used the light green creamy sauce rather than the one he chose. I was hoping he would try the other sauce or by itself.

In culinary school, we learned that there are large franchises. Subway, Chili's, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Wingstop, and Cheesecake Factory are some of the ones that work together in one big company where they develop literally frozen food meals cooked to order. So that anybody who works at these places can make the dishes these restaurants are famous for. It's all frozen foods warmed up, fried up, nuked, etc. They are pre-portioned and pre-made all ready for service.

The best thing at The Cheesecake Factory is the baby crabcake appetizers. The best drink is the Georgia Peach. Their menu is so extensive it's ridiculous. I can tolerate a small amount of sweet in savory. .. no I can't!😝

I've only been to Cheesecake Factory in Long Island like 24 years ago. I remembered everything was just pure excess. Doesn't seem like they've changed on that. They opened up an outlet here in Toronto, but I have not gone and quite frankly I am not dying to flock to.

They have Jamaican food, Puerto Rican Food, Italian food, Cuban food, Chinese food, regional American food... And more.... In some ways, if you lump all non-authentic food as fusion food, you would be happy. Spent almost everyone of my two boys' birthday there for years and years. Same with mine. I like them for what they are. Even some of their American food are not authentic. Cheesecake, yum.

@@lilamk5 I have been around much of the USA, Canada and many European countries. I have read the menus of Chinese restaurants and they all have the same items Western cultures want. The most popular are various small cuts of batter-fried meat topped with sweet and spicy sauces, spring rolls, potstickers, dumplings, fried noodles or rice, slices of wok fried meat with vegetables and dim sum. If these restaurants only served what people eat in China they would go out of business quickly.

Yes I know riproar. I was born and raise in Vancouver BC but have travelled much in my life. My grandparents immigrated to Canada sometime in the early 1900’s. I know what Chinese food is. I have also done extensive research into the history of Chinese restaurants in the US and Canada. I have a real problem people putting all Asian food in one category. You should know if you have travelled as extensive as you have. Dim Sum is so much more than the dumplings eat here. Makes me laugh but it is American and gotta give them what they want lol

I've had that green coconut curry, it's alright. But I've never ordered any of the other Asian-themed dishes and I'm so glad I'm not missing out on anything. I think the best bet over there are the salads and pasta dishes. And their multiple varieties of chicken + sauce + starch dishes.
