Well the place u went to sells them really expensive. Carioca is usually at 10-15 pesos. Have you tried Kwek-Kwek? The orange little eggs with sweet/vinegar sauce?? I like dipping them in both like sweet then the vinegar. It’s at 10-15 pesos too. Try the fish balls and kikiam too! It kinda tastes like odeng but fried lol penoy should be eaten with the vinegar (which has cucumber, some onion and pepper). I think you need to go out to more of the “normal” residence area since i think u live in kind of a sossy place if u want to try real street foods. Hehe luv ur vlog!! Try some “dirty” ice cream too with the bread :))

"fried dumpling" = Empanada "chili lumpia" = Dynamite The Lumpia you ate is Lumpiang Gulay(vegetable) so it's different than the usual smaller meat Lumpia. Almost everything you ate is 10 pesos per stick from where I am 😂 (except for the Inasal and buro) Maybe it's more expensive there because they're paying for the location.

Miss Jessica, that fried dumpling you didn't know the name was, it's a famous snack in our little town in the countryside(Vigan City Ilocos Sur Philippines), EMPANADA. you must eat that by dipping it with VINEGAR WITH LOTS OF SLICED ONION & LITTLE BIT SLATY, & it's more yummy if you bite it with the onions. & if you don't like that, you can also eat it with KETCHUP.😊👍

:) Ms, jessica. You have to eat the balut without thinking what inisde of it. Think it like an ordinary egg or better think a happy moment. One way to eat it, is to eat the chick(embryo) first then the eggyolk, rigth after you savor the soup. That way you barely taste the (embryo or inner part). Anyways, that's just in case you want to give a try again. Great video by the way. 😊

Can you try to cook a leche flan Filipino Leche Flan Dessert Recipe Preparation time: 30 minutes Estimated cooking time: 1 hour Leche Flan Ingredients: 1 can (390g) evaporated milk 1 can (390g) condensed milk 8 egg yolks 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract or lemon essence For the caramel: 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup water Leche Flan Cooking Instructions: In a saucepan, mix the sugar & water. Bring to a boil for a few minutes until the sugar caramelize. Pour the caramelized sugar into aluminum moulds - you can use any shape: oval, round or square. Spread the caramel on the bottom of the moulds. Mix well the evaporated milk, condensed milk, egg yolks and vanilla by hand or blender. Gently pour the mixture on top of the caramel on the aluminum moulds. Fill the moulds to about 1 to 1 1/4 inch thick. Cover moulds individually with aluminum foil. Steam for about 20 minutes (the traditional way to make Leche Flan is by open-air steaming on either an open cooking fire or stove top) OR Bake for about 45 minutes. Before baking the Leche Flan, place the moulds on a larger baking pan half filled with very hot water. Pre-heat oven to about 370 degrees before baking. Let cool then refrigerate. To serve: run a thin knife around the edges of the mould to loosen the Leche Flan. Place a platter on top of the mould and quickly turn upside down to position the golden brown caramel on top You can tell when the Leche Flan is cooked by inserting a knife -if it comes out clean, it is cooked.
