Trying Flexi Rods For The First Time on Short 4C Hair

Hey CurlyKin, I'm back after a small break and today I'm trying to style my hair again. We all know I am horrible at almost all styles so I tried this one and no luck at all. I suck at this hairstyle but I will revisit this hairstyle later.

@@CurlySietta awe, thank you. I am soo nervous because I've seen a lot of people who said it didn't turn out right for them. I'm just starting my natural hair journey and I've learned that alot of styles I mastered on my relaxed hair do not work well on my natural hair(I.e. Bantu knots). At any rate, I work with the public and want to present my best self so any style that can last a couple of days and look cute is worth a shot. I hope you have a great and blessed week. i just tried flexi rods last night - i have medium length 4c hair and it was a FAILfeeling disheartened but i learned it should be done on damp blow dried hair with minimal product...about to try again later this week!

@@CurlySietta sometimes your isn't as bad as you think. Im still learning my hair so I'm having a lot of fails with the wash and gos . I'm determined to get it right, lol. When it fails I just go to my afro puff, til I try again. So be encouraged and keep at it girlie 🙂

Girlfriend, please do not become discouraged. Try, try and try again. Make your technique for your hair and liking. You'll get there. It took me a while.
