As someone who’s worked at Sally’s the hair companies usually aren’t at fault when it comes to developers being busted, the distributors would be the main problem. When we’d get product delivered the boxes would come torn or with little protection and the product would be busted or spilled out

@@letsbangonthewall I can back that up too, it’s so annoying when you’re doing shipment and there’s a big blob of product drenched on the other products! Plus a lot of the developers aren’t screwed on tight so sometimes they go on the floor and customers have spillage in their car :/

@@PrisyxD Yes it was the worst! I remember sometimes I’d be sorting shipment I’d pull out a bottle with spilled product all over it. One time I got a bad allergic reaction from it, that’s how I found out I was allergic to jojoba oil lol

I work at Sally’s and we’ve had to throw away so many of those kits for the same issues with the developer. I’ve never seen it happen with any other developer and we get at least 10 different brands. Good dye young seriously has to fix this issue

I also had the same problem. My first box i bought it was exploded all over in the box. I took it back and they gave me a new box. The new one was so pressurized that when i opened it, it shot out. I ended up using it and my hair honestly feels horrible.

I love love love Haley Williams and seeing the quality of this bleach kit disappoints me. It's nowhere near her fault, I just would have thought it would be incredible. I have used the colour line (Steal my sunshine specifically) and after diluting with conditioner a little I loved it, but I was GOING to use this bleaching kit next week on a friends hair. Thanks for the review, I'll stick to quick blue and my bottle of developer.

I love hayley too! It’s not her fault but shes an owner of the company so she needs to do better at checking the quality of the product and making sure it’s consistent and good quality

@@LivWiinblad that's the best thing about bleached hair imo - you can get away with only doing it every so often! Mine got to the point where it looked like I'd had it done in professional ombre/balyage with a dark pulled out root.

One down side to shopping at Sally's, I've had a few of Ion dyes that I had bought that someone had opened at the store. Of course I didn't notice until I got home. I've had it happen a few times at like 3 different stores. It sucks when that happens.

I do think you had a bad batch but like you said they definitely have issues with their quality control. I hope they revisit the issues people are having and produce better products in the future.

good dye young doesn't seem like it's worth the money, i'm a fan of paramore & hayley williams but after watching you review there dye & bleach i woulden't buy gdy prodocts, it's not that there a bad prodoct it's just i don't think there worth the price they ask for
