Looks like a pretty fun build, but toplane or into a melee midlane might be better for it cause then you can more easily stack it.

In my opinion, Cryo, Hearsteel is more for a lane with melee enemies, and Iceborn Gauntlet for ranged. Not tested yet, but I can tell you later and send replays.

if you going heartsteel mid laner, you can try roaming bot after completing it so you can get 2 stacks at a time

9:39 the statement that “any champ can work with heartsteel right now” along with Pykeonlyfans being in the game makes me wanna try Heartsteel Pyke for infinitely scaling attack damage.

While it might technically work, Heartsteel gains stacks based on the users max HP, so Pyke won't gain more stacks from using it, only by leveling up. Plus, 3 seconds of combat is a lot of time for a Pyke... But it still sounds funny.

I've theorized about this same idea too but haven't taken it into game for the reasons already mentioned. If I were it'd be with a heavily specialized rune set for scaling. I'm thinking blue tree for gathering storm but I can't decide what rune exactly. Briefly considered grasp for the same sort of hp stacking (as well as the ability to take second wind+ revitalize) but it's even worse than heartsteal is. In that case, blue primary would be best with green secondary, and of the 3 options phase rush and comet seem the best choices. Phase rush would allow you to get back in for the proc autos after dumping your eq auto combo (pyke doesn't usually want to stay in hearsteel range long enough to proc it), and comet is safe free damage thanks to your cc. You get to take the movement speed runes in the first 2 slots too, and I'd go straight into yommus and mobis after hearsteel so you can roam and get procs fast. Worth trying, but I doubt it'll be that good after they made pyke so lethality dependent. Maybe umbral rush into heartsteel? Heartsteel is a terribly weak first item for pyke for a lot of reasons, but I could honestly see replacing previous mythic with it after hitting max gold in those 50 minute slogfest games.
