Trying HYPER REALISTIC Nail trend using builder gel | Necta Nails Tutorial

Hi there
In this video I tried my hand at the Hyper realistic nail trend. I created the set using Builder gel and customised the natural nail shade using gel polishes which I will list below. I am truly loving how these nails turned out and I will definitely be wearing them for a week or two. No lie...I have NEVER done my nails using gel before (EVER!), and I've never attempted anything like this before, but I followed all of your steps, used all of the products you listed, and my nails came out FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I think it's just a bit too yellow. I think maybe that's more suitable for black hands & I'd go for slightly pinkier for white hands.

I have long natural nails and my tips are more off-white/alabaster. I don't get yellowing I guess because I only wear clear overlays. These are SUPER realistic though. If I saw you in public you'd have me fooled.

Beautiful American manicure, the french is white tipped. The American (or at least what was call it) is pink tint with more muted yellow tips. You did a GREAT JOB on these.

Love love love this tutorial! I do my nails at home since the pandemic and am always looking for fun trends. I change my nail color so much, and I’m going to start using this as my base so I can wear a ‘natural’ look when I’m deciding on a new design. Perfectly explained and easy to follow along. Everyone also fails to realize that the color of keratin, what nails or made of, is yellow. Yes, nails can get stained and look SUPER yellow if you wear a lot of polish, but they will have a slight yellow tinge regardless. That's why when your are lightening, or bleaching, your hair, the lightest you can go is pale yellow and a toner is needed to neutralize it. If you lighten it to white, you have obliterated the keratin and your hair falls out 😬

amazing, also even if you decide to paint them with ordinary nail polish they would still look real because the underneath would still be real nail look because of the colour. I always wait for a person to lift up their hand to see the underneath to tall if they are fake or not, sometimes the ends are so thick they look like hammers on the end of their fingers.

I've just recently purchased poly gel, primer, slip solution, leveling gel which I learned is another primer. And I got a gel adhesive, nail lamp, and the nail brush with the spatula on it. I'm going to an event on May 20th and the plan is to do my own nails. I really should practice this before then but I'm a little overwhelmed.
