Aww, thank you for doing this set on Vanessa! I have very similar fingers (in shape & color) and have basically sworn off all pinks bc they are just too rosy for my skin tone but this has shown me that a natural look with pink *can* be done for me with the right technique. Love Vanessa! Wonder if we can convince her to seal some deals with stilettos - they look great alongside some nice pens and contracts!

Oh goodness... What a great vid... I've never even had the merest conversation with a nail tech... beyond the standard 'pick your color' they yell the minute you get in the door. Never a discussion of products or effects.. Once and only once I pushed the issue to get a solid color nail that wasn't just polish and they tried seven ways from Sunday to talk me out of it. So here I am... Having just bought my first hybrid kit and terrified, but resolved to have anything and everything I ever wanted.... Well...erm... eventually... I've gotta figure out the first set and see if I can manage it to begin! Thanks for your videos dear lady... You're helping me learn the right way before I even start!

I love love love her!! I bet you she’s going to be back for a fill in no time at all! She said she enjoys wearing nails the times she has gotten them done, but from a lot of her comments, I suspect she’s never had a really well-done set! And I can see how a set that feels thick, or breaks, or lifts at the cuticle could be something you really don’t want to commit to or get filled. If that was my only experience with nails I would probably look at them like a temporary thing I only do once in a while. BUT these are so beautiful, and thin, and built strong! They’re not likely to lift, or break, or grow out with an annoying ridge at the cuticle…so I feel like miss Vanessa might be hooked and itchin for a fill by the time they need it, rather than just giving them up. Well, I certainly hope so because I’d love to see her on the regular!

What I'd give to have Suzie do my nails. I haven't seen the outcome yet, but I already know they'll be beautiful. I've been waiting for this, I've seen a lot of hyper realistic nails, and some have been amazing, others good and the rest, fair play for trying and putting it out there and remember practice makes perfect. Pots are do much better than tubes, I agree 100%. A lot of waste with tubes, and they're not cheap! I can't wait to see the outcome. Beautiful client/model too, she has a great nail bed, I'm lucky I too have a lot of room, but we make it work, no matter what! I can't explain the excitement I get being back on KZbin and watching Suzie. It's informative, creative and so relaxing at the same time. Once I've used up most my hybrid gels, I shall be buying from Suzie. I can't wait. She helps ease my anxiety with her beautiful voice and tone. They're Perfect! The shape is very realistic for natural nails too. Ha my cat's ears poked up with that meow 😹 I love it when Suzie speaks with a British accent it's so random and fun! lol Pigments are stubborn buggers!

I love her!! She has such a calm energy to her. I stopped going to salons to get my nails done for several reasons. It cost $15 when I first started, understandably costs rise over the course of 35 years but $50 a pop..pass!! The last time I went was to get my nails done for my step dad funeral the tech buffed my nails to the point that they hurt. As I was speaking at the funeral I was acutely aware that my nails were sore. I miss having nails. I work with my hands in the dirt all day (garden nursery) but that’s what gloves are for! I’m going to learn to concur the are of nail sculpting! (With your help of course!)Thank you so much for these tutorials. I’ve learned so much from you. ❤

I love this!!! I would probably use clear over the nail bed and the natural gel! I'm awful with my paper forms though, they like never stick together/stay-put and it's a struggle. I think I might just have crappy small paper forms, but I can't afford more now so I'll have to wait a while to try new ones!
