Actually, trains in Indonesia were not like this in the past. In the past, trains in Indonesia were very chaotic, where traders could enter, passengers were hanging, sleeping on the floor of the train until the train was crowded because of the large number of passengers, there was no air conditioning, Animals can enter and there is a lot of cigarette smoke. However, in 2009 Indonesian trains began to evolve into comfortable transportation and until now Indonesian trains have begun to change a lot for people's comfort.

The famous food from Surabaya is "Soto Rawon". But if you want the level of spicy, they can make more spicy. Besde Soto Rawon, they have "Tahu Tek-Tek", "Soto Lamongan", and other food. One more, try "Nasi Bebek" and :Sate Madura". The best sate I ever had. Enjoy and have a safe trip. Btw, the famous tourist attraction not far from Surabaya is Mount Bromo and Tumpak Sewu. You guys should visit there, I guaranted you never regret. ❤❤❤

Greatful Indonesian Railways much improved and transformation to good way in many aspect. If throwback to 10-25 years ago, the quality of service of Indonesian Railways was so bad, can't imagine many differences that day, same like Bangladesh Railways which people allowed to climb/ride on top of carriages until full of people, many pickpockets, standing and laying people on the choach, dirty toilet, etc. Actually, there are classes in general of Indonesian Raiways (depend on operator of train) : Economy Class (like on your video with brown seat without retractable table), Executive Class like yours, Luxury Class. So far I know, there are the luxury class which divided into 4 variants : Luxury Type A (earlier with seats like an egg shape), another one Luxury type B, seats in a 1-1 formation with more privacy partitions, and then Panoramic carriages, and the last one which is more newest one is Premium New Generation class with electronic doors and wider seat. Maybe the top one class in long distance intercity trains is the Suite Class Compartment with high tech seats which are all electronic and have massage fiture facilities. You must try this.😊 But seek for shorten route like Surabaya-Jogjakarta or Bandung-Jogjakarta because the ticket price for long distance route is quite expensive I guess. Luxury classes, Premium NG Classes and Suite Class include VIP lounge on each train station, in train services get 1 time full meal, and 1 time snacks, blanket, headphone, and free for variety drinks in that carriages with special standby staff for serve the pessangers. In fact, Indonesia's railways are still continuing to improve and improve with many innovations. But it's sad and shame, perhaps because the condition of the rail track is quite old, so often on certain routes there are shaky and pretty swings & waving. Unfortunately more to eastern Java like East Java region, the condition of rail track is worse because it is not flatty and feel bumpy. However, complete repairs are difficult to carry out, apart from requiring large costs but also because they are routinely used at a high operational level. I see that Indonesia's railways services are still focused on developing services and comfort in trains and stations. Hopefully soon there will be improvements to the train track which will be flatter and also upgrading the soundproofing carriages. Thanks for this experiences vlog video 🇮🇩❤️

Indonesian trains are the best in Southeast Asia. Seriously. And the train you took is actually not even the best train in Indonesia. Try the most luxurious train from Surabaya to Bandung or to Jakarta called the Suite Class Compartement train. Or you can also try the panoramic train from Surabaya to Jakarta or Bandung. And also you can try the 350 km/h bullet train from Jakarta to Bandung or Bandung to Jakarta

Hello... I am a new subscriber... Good vid as always... If you have plan to continue your journey to Yogyakarta is a good idea... Then from Yogyakarta I recommend you direct to Bandung, also by train. Trying to LODAYA Economic class New Generation or Executive Class New Generation with the different Time schedule departure... Better you make a booking/buying ticket in 2 days before departure day at the Yogyakarta Station's ticket counter... And from Bandung to Jakarta, trying to WHOOSE Bullet Train (Fast Train) with 3 different classes (Economy, Business & VIP) and it take only 30 minutes, with the normal train can ride in 3 hours!!!... I hope you can feel the different of our Train in Indonesia... Oh yeah one more, From Surabaya to Yogyakarta also you can try to SUITE CLASS Compartment Train and always booking/buying in 2 days before departure day in the Station. Also available for regular train... That's it... Have a nice journey in Java...
