@@cameronscott543 Not necessarily. Animals living under better conditions may even taste worse. If they scavenge and build muscle the meat will have a gamier taste that I personally do no like. It really comes down to familiarity and personal preference. If you have ever had wild game you would have a good idea of what I mean.

Everything in America is packed with high fructose corn syrup and preservatives. The fries even have preservatives that make them stay yellow for longer. In Europe though it's generally a lot more natural due to the EU food standards. It's the same in the UK, even though we've left the EU now.

@@MobileCanal It's interesting that you ask this, because in US we often put Ceasar's dressing (which is a type of ranch) on the salad. Is that even a thing in Italy? I'd think Italians invented it since Ceasar came from Rome. 😁🤷‍♀️ I do love olive oil and balsamic vinegar, but it is quite boring sometimes. I'd want to put some interesting spices into it. Do you eat balsamic vinaigrette dressing in Italy?

When we arrived in Spain in February, we went out on Sunday morning to buy groceries and discovered everything was closed. So went to the local Burger King. BK in the US tastes like Ebola on stale bread. At least that's the way I feel an hour after eating. In contrast the BK food here was excellent and flavorful and didn't make me feel sick. There are MickeyD's here, but we haven't been there yet to eat.

Went to McDonalds in Barcelona back in October and the food was great! They had this special burger with fresh Queso and some kind of special sauce with fried onions. Was great! I didn’t try it but, I like how you can grab a beer while you eat! Definitely don’t have that in Canada 😅

Honestly my fave thing from McDs besides a few of their breakfast items (and their coffee! ❤️) is their quarter pounders. Almost always hot, with fresh ingredients on it and the melted cheese. Omg! Guilty pleasure. Lol. Laugh all you like!

Technically USA McDonalds chicken mcnuggets are real chicken, but made with chicken paste. fast food in different countries tastes different mainly because of where the proteins are sourced. In the USA chickens are fed mainly corn and soy. In say UK chickens are mainly fed fish meal so the chicken tastes different.

My experience has been that McDonald's in England and France is very similar to the US. McDonald's in Italy was very different, especially by Termini Station in Rome. There were long tables people offering you hot and cold pasta dishes. And a table of beautiful tortes and other desserts.

I don't know what it is but when visiting my family in Calabria we always stop at McDonalds. It satisfies the french fry craving. I haven't noticed a huge difference from the US. However, the italian food is MUCH better!

Actually we do have a candy called Smarties. Which is why when Sarah said that it was a Smarty McFlurry, I was tempted to immediately buy a ticket to Italy 😂 jk. Smarties are small and round with a bit of an indent on the front and back of each piece and pieces come in: pink, purple, green, and orange. They’re very close to Tums in color and shape, except a bit smaller, but unlike Tums are pure chalky sugary deliciousness. I love them, imo they’re a superior American candy. Although that is not a widely shared opinion in America 😂😂 Love the videos!
