Hey Solo, I just wanted to tell you something. I am so thankful for your videos, and especially the fact that you uploaded today. We just got done dealing with huge storms and tornadoes and it's really bad around here. My nerves are shot and I need to try to relax so I can rest. This is the perfect thing to help me so I can try to sleep tonight. So I just wanted you to know that today this video is especially really important to me. And that souffle looks sooo good! 😃

Japanese food is a treat. I am disabled, and don't go out at all since my husband died. There was a handmade noodle place we loved in a food hall, but I can't get there anymore. I order for delivery once in a while, but it's not the same.

Hello Solo San! I eat Japanese food about once a month. I found a very authentic place near me and their food is delicious. I use to live close to a city that had great ramen and Japanese restaurants and I would eat Japanese food at least once a week. I love curry! Thank you for another great video.

Hello solo! Thank you so much for your wonderful videos! I love seeing all the things you get to do, the wonderful places you visit, and the amazing food you eat! I love Japanese food and I love to cook, so I usually eat Japanese food 3 or 4 times a week. There's even curry in my fridge right now 😂. Thank you for what you do and keep up the hard work!

I'd like to eat Japanese food all the time, but unfortunately there's not a single restaurant in my town, only two or so sushi houses, so I can only eat it maybe a few times a year - I always enjoy it though, your cuisine is delicious! In Prague there's a very authentic Japanese restaurant, the owner married a Japanese and to my knowledge she sends her chefs to train in Japan. Prague and Kyoto are also sister cities and this restaurant holds Kyoto ramen days in celebration of this unity every year, they used to host the owner of a ramen restaurant from Kyoto, she would cook ramen and gyoza for the guests - and she enjoyed the colab so much she gave the restaurant her recipe when she grew too old to travel, which I find absolutely amazing, so that's one place I like to visit when I go to Prague, although it's a bit expensive, but worth the money.

I think I eat japanese food at least once a week, if not in a restaurant or cafe, then I cook at home. I eat it often enough that I sometimes even forget that I'm eating food that originated in japan. I think the Japanese food culture has a pretty strong foothold here in singapore

I just finished eating and You're making me hungry. The pork looked excellent and I'd go to Singapore just to have that souffle. I used to have Japanese food every week when I lived in New York City., but now I only get it occasionally., One of the highlights of my trip to Japan was eating at a sidewalk sushi bar. There were only three stools! One of these days I will be back.

Great video once again, we eat Japanese food as often as we can but always have sake in the home! After experiencing Japanese chain restaurants in Japan, it's really interesting to see that the standard is just as good when in another country. It's not always the case that national chains travel well from what we've experienced here in Scotland... Looking at you Tim Hortons : )

I usually eat something Japanese around once or twice a week. Every now and then, I do a menu of all Japanese recipes. Last night we had hiyashi chuka for dinner. The Japanese foods I make are things like hambagu, Japanese curry, sushi, oyakodon, butter shoyu chicken, teriyaki fish, tamagoyaki, katsu, miso soup, Japanese style mapo tofu, soboro don, gyudon, ramen, yaki udon, onigiri…lots of stuff…

I eat Japanese food at least once every two weeks. Usually ramen or sushi when I go out, & I make oyakudon or curry quite often. Nothing fancy curry-wise, I just use Golden medium spicy. Btw, if I were in Singapore, I'd go straight to the late Iron Chef Chen Kenichi's son's Sichuan restaurant. Not only was Chen Kenichi (RIP) one of my favorites, I heard Chen Kentaro's place is amazing!

nice to have your reviews about Japanese restaurants here in Singapore! i hope u enjoyed your visit did u manage to try indian curry while u were here? anyway... to answer your question.... for me ... its maybe once every 2 weeks maybe. i am fortunate to be spoilt for choice because there are many cuisines here. and sometimes, the Japanese food option for me was the easiest. (we have a sushi place called Kuriya here) and i just pick up some inari sushi and maybe a few boat ones to go ... as for sitting at a proper Japanese restaurant..... maybe once a month ........ anyway, hope u enjoyed your stay again and found it fun. 😊 favourite sushi restaurant here is Sushi Tei and another one called Sun with Moon.... u should try those next time u r here and tell me what you think 😶

I worked around the area where you tried most of the Japanese chains. 😄 I ate Japanese food about 3-4 times a week for lunch since there's just so many Japanese restaurants at Suntec / Marina Square. By the way, there's Tempura Makino in Suntec too. Oh, and not sure if you are aware but there's a Butahage (butadon restaurant from Hokkaido) at Suntec - same tower as Sushiro and Hoshino Coffee - although their signature dish is butadon, I very much prefer their tempura with hot udon! Maybe next time when you are here in Singapore again, you can give it a try :)
