I was so excited for this video!!! I really wanna pastel pink my hair but my bollocks for different colours has shrunk since I've had my children LOL, for some reason I'm convinced I would be judged based on my hair colour, as I already feel judged with my tattoos and stretchers. its probably me being paranoid and I should embrace my unique style. but yeah 😂😂😂

Same. I've been so many colours, and most were pretty poor home-dye jobs. I really can't remember anyone saying anything rude/judgey to me (other than parents friends who'd say something like ''oh, I did love how rich brown your natural hair is''), but I'd get lots of smiles or compliments (even if it was a bit silly like ''good on you for going for that colour'' or ''you pull it off pretty well'').

I actually love touching up my hair with the Lime Crime dyes, prefer it over manic panic!! I use Chocolate Cherry and it comes out a BEAUTIFULLL deep pink

This dye worked really well for me and the fading has been very consistent and not patchy. I wish the purple was more blue toned though. 💜

After the hacking scandal and the CEO laughing in everyone's faces over it, swindling money by pretending it was for an animal shelter (after letting her cat die), having conflicts over the beeswax that used to be on the lipstick labels then mysteriously vanished, the incident with the rust on the superfoils and many others, I personally could never support them.

I just colored my hair with the strawberry jam last week and I was very disappointed in the color payout. I had to go over it with cleo rose from manic panic cause the color was so patchy and yes I have bleached hair. it also dryed my hair out so bad. did not like it!!!

I've been super curious about this brand because on one hand, their shade choices are absolutely PERFECT - beautiful and really unique! The pink turned out great, but the Sext/mauve and Pony/lavender colours were a bit weak looking. Bright side is that they already look 'lived in' instead of how garish and flat colours can be just after being dyed.

Lindsay Dean it's because the dyes are super diluted already (which is why you get such a big tub) - I'd rather use different brands and dilute/mix my own, limecrime's colours are unusual but would be better in a concentrated brighter formula.

my hair is rainbow coloured and has been for about 2 years now I use directions and wanted to try this stuff but I've see that many bad reviews don't think I will. maybe use as a colour refresh like Helen has though. x

Just a quick tip for dying hair, you did a great job but just to make it easier for you: When you part the hair, after running the end of the brush trough the roots, try grabbing the section by the rootsection instead of pulling the brush all the way to the ends and then grabbing the section. I hope you know what I mean. That way the parting is more neat.
