Rob tips are the edge of the ribs where they start to shorten. Most places don't sale it with a slab they keep separate cut clean. but here in the mid west we like to cut it off and have ribs tips separate

I haven’t had the chance to meet Big Kev or go to Bludso’s BBQ… but from Netflix’s bbq showdown and various cooking competitions that I have watched on tv in Ga, he is definitely an OG in the bbq game. I’m glad you and Cuzzo went together to see what the vibration was on the food, presentation and etc… even if you had stated it was ⛽️, I was going to still support his restaurant because he has influenced others coming up in the game at this level. In closing, Cuzzo went to destination in Murrietta so I’m hoping y’all do a collaboration video together there as a point of comparison. Don’t stop and keep going good sir!

I was there Sunday also, and i thought it was TRASH, I got a side order of Rib Tips, side order of Potato Salad , side order of Greens and the Corn Bread, i spent 50 dollars, and the only thing i liked was the Corn Bread, I got it to go, Maybe had i ate there, and spent Big Money like you did, it would have taste better, I notice you didn't give an opinion on the Greens, again it was TRASH to me. p.s I thought about you LATRYGUY, when i was there, thinking it would be so cool to run into you lol, Keep Up The Good Work. There are so many hidden gems and popular spots along the Cali coast. You tried tri tip in Fresno. Tri tip originated in Santa Maria, Ca. This cut of meat is meant to be cooked over red oak. Red oak is regional to the central coast. Check out Priedite BBQ in Los Olamos. They were just rated one of the top bbq spots by Texas monthly online. Cinnamon rolls? Check out Old West Cinnamon Rolls in Pismo beach after having highly rated clam chowder at Splash Cafe. We also have Cracked Crab and Ada’s fish house. Other notable places that stand out: Beachin biscuits ( biscuits and gravy spot) Rancho Nipomo (asada fries) High Street deli Madonna Inn (chocolate cake) A lot of these places are unique spots that stand out. I dont know if you have already been over here or will ever see this, but it would be cool to see this area get some more love. Not to mention the dozens of wineries, 13 distilleries and breweries like Figueroa Mountain and Firestone Walker nearby. While you’re at it cruise through Solvang. It aint much but worth a quick trip along the way.
