something i like to do with dual forms is place them a little bit higher on the nail leaving the cuticle area clean and then after i build up the cuticle area with a small bit of polygel. super easy way to get a nicely shaped nail and flush cuticles w/out too much filing 😁

So, I jumped on the polygel train this week. Got the Gershion kit from Amazon and did my first set, and let me tell you, I'M IN LOVE, and my nails look BOMB AF. Did I mention it's ridiculously easy, too? I started with acrylic, but I'm firmly on the polygel train for life. I just bought the Makartt polygel today, because I liked the selection of nude colors. Y'all... if you're thinking of getting one of these sets, DO IT. You won't be sorry. Just make sure you prep your nails correctly. SO much easier than acrylic, and no smell. I've found the kits are a great value for the money. Evie was the one who convinced me to buy the Makartt set.

If I use dual forms, I like to either apply the polygel around my cuticle area before putting the form on or just leaving a space and filling it in after. Makes the cuticle area look much better

I place my nails a little away from the cuticles then fill in the back after I take the forms off. Keeps the ledge lower. But I love the way you do with the nail forms, I'm not that good. Lol

They're not friendly especially if you don't have an e-file to smooth the underside if it gets chunky or clean the cuticle area. I've been doing nails for about a year and I still hate dual forms. i like to use a diamond barrel bit to get around my cuticles. Sometimes my gel will pool up there and I'll cure it by accident. I just fix it with that bit. I love how the glitter and crystals match in this set. It adds such a nice touch.
