Trying Mod Podge Photo Transfer

I have an ink jet. I have printed out color images from Graphics Fairy, painted a generous glopp of regular Mod. podge pnto a table top😮 and lay the image face down. After smoothing out ,I lay the paper face down and waited overnight before taking a wet sponge to carefully we t the back until only the image was left. Let it dry and seal.

See I thought I had seen people using inkjet printers but this was adamant that the picture had to be laser printed. I’m going to keep trying.

It’s so disappointing when products don’t turn out like expected. I imagined just the ink transferring and not the paper too.

Ok so it wasn’t just me thinking the white shouldn’t be there. It’s fine just not what I was expecting.

@@JunkinwithStacy Yep. It should have just been the ink. Maybe the image needed to have a transparent background?

@reagansavannah it was a transparent background but it still has to be printed on paper.
