Trying MUSKY LURES For European PIKE!! (ft.

Today I throw it back to August to my time over in Aland! I head out chasing Big Pike with some familiar musky baits! I was excited to see how these would work and the results were surprising!

Hi BenI Use a lot of musky lures for pike! Only I never catch musky on it only pike in the Netherlands 😃 My favorite lure is ERC HELLHOUNDS. My biggest lure that i use for pike a lot is between 23cm a 30cm. You must buy a Salmo Fatso 14cm Floating or Sinking it is a pike magnet...it will work on Musky too....think.

the best Musky lures for Pike will be the various glide baits. The rest are simply too flashy, aggressive for big Pike.

Canadian pike (sometimes unfortunately) like musky baits quite a bit. Caught some absolute runts that were basically the same size as the lure. At the same time, some of the biggest pike come from trying to catch muskies as well.

hi, im just wondering, because in north america the northern pike are genereally smallen than their european counterparts, but its still the same spcies, are european like about the same size as muskie or are the muskie larger, european pike has been known to reach 30kg in weight and here in sweden its pretty comom to see 15-18kg ones swedish record beeing 21kg
