Kendrick has a Pulitzer and is the best lyricist of his time (regardless of how you feel about his rapping ability and flow), Drake was taking 14-year-olds out to dinner at 30 and gets away with it because he makes generic pop-style music that the general public and teens like. Rap has never been a circle of folks who abide by high moral standards, but no way is Drake the lesser evil. The industry has been planning to expose Drake for a long time. Kendrick is just their strongest weapon to do so.

Yeah, I completely agree. I don’t understand the Drake shilling. Beefs are a no holds barred type of thing, Kendrick can say whatever he wants. It is silly to see grown men “fight” like this, but Drake is also contributing, so who’s being silly here? 💀

I feel like you're being deliberately obtuse. And I think celebrities do have some basic responsibly to not do things that could reasonably lead to or encourage their audiences to engage in real world harassment or violence. None of this is a defence of Drake. For all I know he is a predator. I don't know and you don't either. But all of this seems incredibly lame and petty and irresponsible and motivated by two idiots with big egos, not a genuine concern for any victims. I don't understand why people are celebrating anyone involved in this.
